I first encountered eckankar way back in 1969 when I was seeking spiritual knowledge. Actually joining the organization didn't come for me untill 2000, though. It makes a difference. It works. And the simple "spiritual exercises" are uplifting and effective. I'm not realy certain of the difference between an eck master and an ascended master, but I believe the eck masters are focused primarily on the individual's spiritual unfoldment, while the other guys are more involved with the "goings-on" on the planet as a whole. All I can say is its available as an individual path for anyone to try. baraka bashad "may the blessings be"
