being good example of humility is a sign of wisdom.
If you go to an 12 step meeting you will find people who are humble (if they are working a program) and very spiritual......their egos have taken a beating, and their addictions have taken them through the ringer....I know this one spiritual teacher and he is one of the most humble teachers I have yet to see, in fact all the teachers running through my mind are very spiritual and humble. Humble enough to get out of their own way and to learn. If you are arrogant, or have so much ego it is hard to empty the cup as to fill it up again with something different....it is a continual thing filling the cup and then when it is time - empty the cup......I was thinking that these things have really nothing to do with you and or anyone else, cause nothing is personal, it is between you and spirit.....
I thought it would be funny to make a bumper sticker that says, "Humble and Damn Proud of it!"
