I am really fed up of seeing so much Junk Food/Drinks in stores...why don't humans use their intelligence?

Go to any store and you will find so much junk food...go to health food stores and they cheat you by not specificing the real ingredients on some of their products.Adults should know better but only few care about what they eat .. Children are mostly into junk food as it seems no one tells them any better.Junk food in stores and some restaurants is common and as long as it sells and makes money not many seem to give a damn.IF ALL THE STORES REMOVED ALL THEIR JUNK FOOD AND DRINKS MOST OF THEIR STORE SHELVES WOULD BECOME EMPTY but it has become common to stock up their shelves with junk food and drinks as long as it makes money.. It is a sad world we live in.Your food effects your thinking, your behaviour and your actions.Junk food and Drinks are the ingredients of creating junk humans and some are close to zombies as they eat almost anything.To create better healthy humans in mind, body and spirit people need to remove junk food from their diets or the consequences are sickness, disease and unhealthy people.Be intelligent ..Think before you eat and eat only that which will benefit your health.Eat to Live and not Live to Eat.Do not be mugs as most stores are more interested in making money then your health.Your health is in your hands so when you go shopping pick with your hands the products that will be good for you and leave the junk food from your diet.Best option is fresh veg and fruits and healthy drinks only.

Nice charts Gailene :) once I chose to live this way my immune system became so strong to the point I can now be around illness and stay well. My children are being brought up the same way and when the teens go out and buy junk on their own the mood drops and they feel it. I know what they are learning they will adopt as they too feel the benefits from a healthy lifestyle. These companies should be stopped and ashamed of themselves the health of our population is in dire straits, it's sad to see obese adults let alone obese children their quality of life is ruined. If I eat something now my body says no to I pay the price and it's not good I find mainly alkaline works great for my system and any acidic food must be very natural and in small doses. This topic needs so much awareness to be spread for people to realise and wake up.

Another point is now a days you will see a lot of vending machines but guess what ? ...yes you are right THEY ARE FULL OF JUNK FOOD yet people buy as very few care on what they eat.
These junk food and drink machines should be really banned as they items they contain do more harm then good.

My suggestion is to come up with healthy food and drink vending machines.

I knew this mostly, Gailene, but nevertheless, it's very useful to have such an excellent visual chart for quick reference..I especially like the anti-oxidant rich foods summary...I eat one or other of these foods, each day...good stuff..!!

I personally choose organic, locally grown produce mostly and for the rest if i cant pronounce alll the ingidients then no good :)

It is a shame that most adults fail to train and teach their children to keep away from junk food/drinks as they themselves consume a lot of junk food/drinks. Instead of discouraging their kids from junk food/drinks they buy them junk food/drinks
