i hurt people

i want to say something. i love people but i always end up hurting them one way or the other and when i try to love after a period of time i can turn nasty just like that. i just feel so confused too so many diffrent messages conflicting. messages about right things to do about love etc. and with my tendancy i just believe them all just like that. then when ppl say diffrent things i get more confused. i end up hurting people too when i meet a new friend it can be sure at some oint down line i will hurt them. not psyically but emotionally. im only 18 but i dnt want to hurt people. you may call me soft but if you hurt people wouldnt you be?robert gordon

  • I'm wondering if this pattern is stemming from feelings of Worthlessness?

    Is there a subconscious sabotage going on here? Where you WANT to be close to people, but feel you are unworthy of that kind of intimacy?

  • The sooner you REALIZE that you cannot Hurt Anyone....the BETTER...
    Nobody can Hurt anyone ...(People just get Hurt, from their own mindset/thoughts/emotions)
    Just like nobody can Hurt you!!!
    If we are confident about ourselves, responsible about our actions,and following our beliefs, without worry about the opinions, actions and words of those around us...then Nobody can take us out of our "Peaceful" state of mind that we can hold...
    The notion that: "I Hurt this person"...comes only from our low egotistic mind!!!
    just like the feeling, that the others can hurt us, or our feelings...this comes from the ego too....
    We are Free, always..to Keep Hold our feelings to the State of Being we like to be!!!
    We can keep our Balance, and Harmony at all times!!!

  • Well done for recognising this pattern of behaviour and trying to understand it. I believe that we develop our patterns of behaviour for a reason, and that even the most negative behaviours serve some kind of useful purpose (which is why we develop them in the first place). So, in my view, you need to try and understand what useful purpose this behaviour is serving. For example, is it a way of keeping people at a 'safe' distance? Is is a way of maintaining personal boundaries and autonomy? I agree that you need to look for triggers to this behavior occurring - what is going on between you and the other person just before this occurs? What are you thinking and feeling and why? Can you go back in your mind to when this first happened? What were the circumstances around this? I wonder if you have been hurt by someone close to you in the past, and this pattern of behaviour developed to prevent this happening again, to keep you emotionally 'safe'.
    • I agree with Albertha, i do a lot of hurting to. It seems we see their hurtings and have the habbit of wanting to get it out. Also the changes in the energy of the universe ask for it to change if we want to move on on ouwer path to higher fields. We do so trigering things in these persons and also mirror stuf back to them. It is important to realize it so you can control it in better ways that will less damage you on the long run. Also try to not take it personal, i think studying psycology and para-psycology might help you understand and learn new ways to deal with it. I only had one bad experience trying to help a person getting the bad stuff out, and i was not prepared to deal wit the amount of negative force that came up to me i ended up in hospital, it took me a few weeks to clean myself up. Sometimes it is better to walk away and let another more experienced soul do the work. Hope this info helps you a bit further.

  • yeah i know what i feel. its like these bad feelings suddenlly come over me. i have no bad thoughts toward other people but i can turn just like that in that second then i hurt someone
