  First of all Barbara I wish to welcome you here. The fact that you have been drawn here several times means most likely that your soul wants you to experience this site and the wonderful loving people here. I am not going to say that there is always agreement here on everything but that is what makes it so interesting. And yes things can get a bit passionate here, as we are all welcome to express the thoughts and dreams of our hearts, share our angst at times, disagree with one another on occasion and yes people here sometimes get on a rant or ramble. It is like family here, a unique patchwork of so many people who all share a common dream and a desire to love and learn together. The wonderful thing about this site is having such a large number of people from all over the world with diverse backgrounds, belief systems, life situations and perspectives all interacting and sharing in diversity together. I have been here for a couple of years and have no regrets about all the time I have spent here getting to know everyone, expressing what was on my mind, listening to others, trying to help if wanted and just plain enjoying so very much being part of the family here. Follow you inner guidance and instincts about all the posts, blogs and comments you read. If something you read does not resonate or ring true for you, it is ok. Take from you readings what you will. Ponder and mull things over. Walk in your own path.

  I'd recommend you to start learning meditation techniques. It starts with breathing, learn yoga breathing and slowly make one stap forward. If you can find a youga training it's the best for the begining. It teaches you concentration.
  If you enjoy self learning take Eckhart Tolle books in library" The Power of Now" or Drunvalo Melchizedek's "Flower of Life".
