Turkey is a rogue state right now. It does not matter who is controlling them behind the scenes it is Turkey who is going to pay. It is like a light weight boxer deciding he is going to take on the heavy weight champion. The light weight boxer thought he had all the strength he needed in the groups he had joined and now could take on anyone he likes.
It turns out he has been left to take on the heavy weight champion by himself. There is a lesson to be learned in this! It is only the Turkish leadership who are the problem. Erdogan must go! The Turkish population are not the problem and the majority are probably decent people but they could be about to pay the price for having a fruit cake as a leader.
He has made so many stupid decisions in the last few months that I can see only one outcome. I have seen a lot of the rats leaving the ship over the last few days and this is usually a sign that something big is about to happen to Turkey. They may be about to take one for the lads. They are NATO members but NATO can not condone such illegal action by one of it's member states that never should have been allowed to become a member.
They will never be let become a EU member because they are not civilised enough...they would just turn into another Greece. They are our buffer zone between Europe and the middle East. They have been shitting all over us for the last year by letting illegal people pass through and straight into Europe. If Europe want this to stop they must pay Turkey and let them inthe EU which would bring our border to Syria. Never going to happen. That is black mail and mafia tactics. They run their own country through intimidation...that is not common in Europe.
They have also being dealing and training with daes and bringing oil and guns over the border. This has pissed off the Russians who pretty much wiped daes off the face of the Earth. That is where Turkies biggest problem is, they have provoked the Russians to the point that the Russians are now in a legal position to start a war with Turkey. It has been their right since Turkey shot down a Russian Aircraft in Syria.
NATO will not stand behind Turkey if they are attacked because The Russians are within their rights. The thing is, the Russians have been very careful and shown great restraint up to now as they are being poked all around their borders. I would not be surprised to see a show of power and the regime in Turkey taken out with a vote by the people for who replaces and not an occupation. Turkey is a mickey mouse compared to Russia and never should have got too big for it's boots. They could be wiped out in a few hours.
The signs look like something is going to happen involving Turkey, just from reading articles on the internet. The Turks are the ones provoking actions that will lead to war so are not entitled to UN backing. They are the ones putting fuel in the fire to start a war. It is a war that Turkey can not win! This would not lead to world war as the Turks have been the aggressors and nobody would be drawn into a larger escalation to help Turkey who will get what they deserve.
Any plan to escalate into a larger war will fail like all the rest because all the important nations of the world know some elements are intent on starting a world war. So all major nation are on the defensive and not coming out of their box. The Turkey war would only be a short regional war to create regime change for the good. Something like the clearing out of Syria and Ukraine one step at a time without sending in ground troops. No need to look like occupation.
Just get the job done and keep your own interests and borders safe. This is all about oil. The Russians have a gas pipeline into Europe which supplied a lot of European needs. Now they want to cut out the Russians by creating a pipeline through Syria to Europe and cutting off the Russian business.
All the sanctions have hurt Europe more than the Russians and have not hurt the Americans at all. The refugee crisis only affects Europe and not America. We in Europe would be better off to deal with our natural neighbours and stop being influenced by powerful corporations who treat our leaders like puppets. Common sense for Europe to go back to business as normal with Russia. That is how I see it.

Nigel Farage talks Turkey at the European Parliament.....
Yes I agree, Turkey is rapidly becoming a rogue state, under the notoriously tyrannical Erdogan....A President who slaughters Kurds in his eastern borders, shoots down Russian planes, while blackmailing Germans and the EU Shengan zone, over mass migrations, which give him leverage using backroom deals, into giving Turkey a crack at becoming a future member of the EU, as well as visa restrictions lifted...which is truly unrealistic and quite insane of him...
And while all this is going on, Erdogan clamps down on the press and free speech in Turkey, labelling anyone who disagrees with him, as traitors...He has a Turkish intel run trade deal with ISIL, giving them support and receiving payments in oil...Well, until Russia stopped it...LOL :-)
Erdogan reminds me of Emperor Tiberius, of imperial Rome....Power crazed and paranoid of all dissent.....He has even threatened Facebook enough for them to suspend the accounts of Kurds who promote their cause....As for Merkel in Germany, the less said the better....A truly sad state of affairs to observe...
Actually, the EU is a complete disgrace and has approached the whole Turkish issue, uselessly....I will be voting BREXIT and the sooner GB is out of this Euro-gang, the better...Many here see the signs of a sinking EU ship and Turkey and Ukraine are two potential members, we simply cannot stomach.....Enough is enough.....
