I think , you are still missing the point .
Now, when someone says that he wish that 96% of people in the world be brutaly murdered, then he comes out as a vegan preacher, then its utterly ludicruous!! How can someone preach to pple to be righteous when he has a character that no one would like to imitate?
If your out to call people to care for animals, you must greate a pic of a caring person. If you reveal yourself as a person who does not care about his fellow humans, no one will beleive that you care about animals. You will be declared an hypocrite straight away. Generally, you will do more harm to the movement as you will demonstrate that it is about heonicity, stupidity,...,

movement is doing quite well Rama , no worries. The number of vegetarians doubled and vegans increased by another 5% in last 5 yrs in U.S. alone. Movement is getting stronger and better by the minute.

Ah, that explains the sudden rise in the Dietary Supplements Industry.
I observed a steady decline in their sales ever since the first news articles appeared and where it were made clear that the supplements were unnescessary for all who had an omnivorous diet. I expected and also hoped for that awful industry to die no more than a year from that.
And then, all of a sudden, the industry were going up again, and NOT from increased attendance from "the omnivores".
I have had no explanations for that phenomenon, until Now.

People take supplements for many different reasons....The stress and lifestyle people live these days, bad eating habits of fast foods, GMOs, depression, lack of sleep, toxins in the foods, all cause shortages in the body. Also people are seeing that big pharmacy meds do not work and are trying alternative herbs,alternative medicine systems etc. I agree that for some it is just a business.... but many companies produce with high quality ethics.
you and your supplement theories .................some is true , however , i feel that non vegetarians swallow more pills than real vegetarians or vegans,
