It only shows that we should also respect and be kind to dogs ...all animals really
I've never liked dogs, but dogs have always liked Me, so I have no choice but to treat them with respect whenever I meet them. I even had to learn to be a "flock leader" in order to properly respond to all the love I get from dogs all the time. :)
Sure is a brave faithful dog ...SO THEY SAY A FRIEND IN NEED IS A FRIEND INDEED
Although that particular oneliner actually spring from a drug-abuse reality, when describing what happens if You have weed and your friend does not. ;)
The expression may be older than that because Wiki doesn't agree with me here but.. "A friend in need is a friend indeed" is something I got associated with drugs, 20 years ago. ;)
