It is questionable whether the moon is habitable even for picoseconds regardless how one may dress. Same applies to the journey through energetic paricles from the sun. Already, here on earth, it is too cold in winter and too hot in summer. Yet this is due to mere tilting of the earth. How about going some miles into space. If you go towards the sun, you rost. If you go away from it, you freeze! So the only way is to go there exactly during half moon and never spend even a single day there! But the question of van-allen belt is an entirely different can of worms on its own!
