Joy in Gaza as UNGA recognizes Palestine as observer state

Hundreds of people waved Palestinian flags and danced in the streets of the Gaza Strip to celebrate a United Nations General Assembly vote which recognised a Palestinian state, by upgrading the Palestinian Authority's status from that of observer to non-member state.
