It´s ineviteable - the now famous extraterrestrial society known as W56 or simply ´Friends´has become the topic of the day in Italy and at a party yesterday, I discussed the subject of the landings and encounters with them and their bases on Earth, and I was repeatedly told that ´those are not human beings so we can´t grant them citizenship unless they apply first and new laws are written which confirm their right to become Italian citizens´.

I told the lawyers that this was a very narrow minded and stupid approax to somebody who has access to technologies which are way behind us and that this would because of the nature of events described in the book Mass Contacts - have to be considered in large part an Italian state matter - should Italy grant them citizenship?

I support so. A young mss. who listened to us told me ´well, the 6 metre tall fella could be very useful in construction projects. Extraterrestrial immigration to Earth might have positive impact on Icelandic society´.

There are a few large and small individuals belonging to the group with some claiming to be from other universes.

And it can´t be denied that this contact is happening - which begs the question - how does humanity or will humanity handle it?

Appearently to begin with, not very well.

I told my lawyer friends that I consider them to be human beings, and that it is not my business to determine something about their nature as human beings - that´d have to be the business of human right experts.

They´re so like us that it is in fact unmistakeable that they are most probably human - and there are numerous other human beings who come from other planetary systems and who live here and who live there also and who visit the planet frequently.

And we can´t just treat them as if they don´t exist anymore - we have to consider it as a possibility that one day they might start applying for citizenship........ineviteably whether or not they like it, they have become part of our society.
