Cleaner burning, cheaper, natural gas for vehicles, especially large trucks?
The United States needs to produce more natural gas to ease itself from the pain of pricey crude and become more energy dependent, says billionaire oilman T. Boone Pickens.
U.S. truck maker Navistar and Clean Energy Fuels are studying ways to develop trucks powered by natural gas, which would really push the country towards energy self-sufficiency.
"There are 8.5 million 18-wheelers in the United States. That’s 2.5 million barrels of oil a day. So that cuts OPEC in half if you had all the 18-wheelers," Pickens tells CNBC.
"Is there any obstacle from that happening? Not that I know of because the fuel is so cheap."

A paddle wheel with a generator attached that floats on the ocean will generate electricity for free now multiply it by millions floating in the tides should supply ample power to run all city's plus electric automobiles pollution free forever...not to count therm o energy right below our feet.

this video is from a man who is developing solar powered roads, they connect everything pretty much already and would be power grid everywhere, with energy being able to be sent where needed when needed
Love the concept, lots of potential and lots of bugs to work out on that idea but definitely heading in the right direction.

What im more concerned about is how we're going to PUT the Oil back into the Earth.
Mother Earth needs the oil in the crust for lubrication.
That... is an important point to ponder. That... is the kind of thing we will need ET technology for.
