Hi,
I've had two really vivid dreams/visions in the period just after drifting off where I have levitated. Both times within the dream I have been able to control this and ground myself back to the Earth. Also, sometimes I have the feeling of being about to levitate when I'm awake, although nothing 'real' happens!
Is this an ascension sypmtom and what would happen if I let myself carry on floating upwards?! :)
Peace, light and love
Catherine

I've had some levitation dreams as well... I think I am going to start keeping a dream journal, because it's interesting to look at what's happening in dream time, become more aware in general of all aspects of consciousness ~
Thank you all, it's really helpful to know that I'm not the only one, the dreams are sooooo vivid. I'm off to practise. If I manage it in this world I will let you know!! :)
Have had levitation dreams since I was a kid. Seemed very real.
try it and see :) you would be able to bring yourself down to earth if you wanted to. That you can do it in your dreams which is only really a dimension away suggests you probably could levitate if you really wanted to. If it were me, I'd give it a go. You've got nothing to lose and you never know, you might surprise yourself :) good luck Catherine, I've got faith that you can if you want to.
Yeah is kinda hard to float around especially when is not a lucid dream, but the feeling of flying around is awesome, I would love to experience it in real life.

My biggest problem used to be to keep myself in the air, but since I've spent time on bringing waking world desires into my dreams and then experience them in full, have taught me that control is always achievable as long as you don't try to force through the event. Wish/intend for it to happen and then just let it happen is the receipe to control events in dreams/deep visions. I always loose control over the dream when I try too hard, or, when I want to replay events and starts thinking about alternate scenarios while "rewinding" :)

I used to feel like that all the time when I were in my 20's.. I still believe that if I were to have tried of the things that came into my mind at that period, it would probably have worked. 15 years later, the self-doubt alone is in the way of a LOT of things. :)
Nothing will ever HAPPEN though. Like in the dreams, there are thought processes that are required.
Bringing desires into the dreamworld is one thing, but bringing the experience and memories of that dream into the
waking world and being able to utilize it straight up while awake, is a completely different enterprise. :)
My levitating dreams started several years ago when a man who looked like Moses started giving me lessons. I remember him watching me as I floated overhead. We were in a meadow dotted with trees of which I kept running into at first. Finally after numerous flying-lesson dreams I was able to fly over the treetops.
I also remember dreams where I felt like I was showing off for others. To start floating I always have to lay back and pick up my feet off the ground. I feel like I'm learning to swim this way, but I guess it takes practice to start a "takeoff" from my feet like Superman. In other dreams I remember flying back to Earth from outer space at an incredible speed. The sensation was fantastic.
One more experience of floating I had wasn't a dream. I was on a Teacher Training Course (TTC1) at MIU, Maharishi International University, (now called Maharishi University of Management-MUM) in Fairfield Iowa. This was a course to become a teacher of TM, Transcendental Meditation. During this course, everyone does their meditation(s) at the same time, and as we all know, when you meditate in a group, the meditation is much deeper. So one day, as I was coming out of my meditation (I was laying on my back), I had the sensation of floating. I felt weightless, couldn't feel the bed under me. It was summertime, the room's window was open and a gentle breeze was flowing in. I remember thinking that I might float out the window on the breeze. My eyes were still closed at this time, I didn't want to open them for fear of dropping to the floor, or bed, or whatever I was floating over. After a few minutes I started to feel the bed under me and opened my eyes. I felt ... blissful.
Are you aware that the TM organization actually teach people to fly now? It's called Yogic flying (the TM Siddhi Program). Look it up and see some pictures.
I don't know. I have levitation dreams too...or dreams where I'm gliding...it's neat lol But I don't know what happens to you if you just keep going....I guess nothing lol You'll wake up before something bad happens, I reckon.
