Life In Buddhist Largest Settlement Inside the village where 40,000 monks and nuns are segregated

The settlement has grown from a handful of disciples in the 1980s to become one of the largest centres for the study of Tibetan BuddhismThe Larung Gar Buddhist Academy in China has basic amenities for the 40,000 monks and nuns who stay there

TVs are banned, and the huts of monks and nuns are segregated by a winding road through the middle

The resplendent Buddhist monastery is the focal feature of the academy, with a wall to prevent monks and nuns from mingling

Among the green rolling hills in the Larung Gar Valley in China, the last thing you would expect to see in the countryside are thousands of red wooden huts that have been built in a massive cluster.

Despite its secluded location it is home to the Larung Gar Buddhist Academy, the world's largest Buddhist settlement.

A vibrant splash of red, this colourful settlement has sprung up in the 1980s and is now a haven for over 40,000 monks and nuns

The problem with "high thinking" is though that it sometimes leaves you in the clouds, wheras the material needs of your body won't get clear until you "land". And then, you're back at square one since you realize that you've evolved totally, spiritually speaking, but nothing at all, physically speaking. :)

If your dear Buddhists had learned ANYTHING about material thinking combined with spiritual thinking, they'd since long have realized that a separation between men and females, would NOT have been preferrable. :)

Personally, I've been gifted with a totally perverted sexuality, whereas I have no choice between "learning to live with them" and "sex with them is completely unthinkable and will result in the end of your life". so I have a few advantages here since I've therefore been forced to evolve into something They've only chosen to evolve into. But, it also makes me uniquely qualified to express my view on how these Buddhists are ACTUALLY progressing. ;)

Nice, then all that's left to do is to test their spiritual conviction (and mental discipline), is to mix men a females and see how well they can cope with it, without feeling an overwhelming urge to have sex. . If they can pass that test during a 40 year long measurement period, they're certainly ready for TRUE ascension. ;)
