I think the best way to explain what is happening in the battle between light and dark at the moment is with a metaphor of children's playground rides.
The dark playground minions are pretty much stuck on that pitiful 2 person, spring mounted rocking horse, ride which goes backwards, forwards, flops side to side, with varying degrees of intensity. They lure you onto it with promises of excitement and adventure. And once your on there you both tend to be flat out going nowhere. When you tire of the excitement of the dark rocking horse the evil playground minions up the ante, rocking harder and harder in the hopes that they can turn your waning excitement into fear. If you are, however a seasoned playground campaigner who rides in the light and can see through the bluff, you know that all you have to do is climb off that ridiculous rocking horse ride walk over to the slippery dip, climb up and slide down. Safe in the knowledge that the rocking horse cabal can't follow. Because they are caught up in the fear and excitement of the rabid rocking horse. All they can do is sit pinned to the ground, looking up towards the light, only stirring to generate some excitement when the next unsuspecting victim walks by.
Do feel free to wave hello at them as you flash by on the merry go round. It may be the only company they get all day.

These are testing times. The energies are such that they are pushing people up against the boundaries of their duality. And under such circumstances people say and do things that they don't necessarily intend. As always, they key is discernment. The ability to see through the behaviours into a persons soul and seek to understand their motivation. Because we all can, and have, dropped the ball at different stages of our lives. And it is important to always keep this in mind when judging another's behaviour.
I wrote the above as a bit of fun. I walked through a park the other night and the metaphor hit me. However, I always maintain that if you hold your light the dark can't hurt you. And I also have faith in the inherently good nature of mankind. Even if they are doing bad things.
Namaste.
I just had my dark ride at the playground. Pfieuw. I'm not going to come back down again. Traumatic experience to see and feel the fear and hatred at that playground. Up Up Up into the light again. Home.
The rocking horse is an unfortunate necessary evil on the path. You have to walk into the dark and strike a match there. Otherwise it forever holds you back. And that's been my biggest realiztion. Accepting that as (my) process. That if I go looking for my dark repeatedly and shine a light there,it's then not dark anymore. It's crappy, but fear hunting works. And it is a consistent, repeatable, methodical process. It became a distillation of everything I'd learnt into a few simple steps. I just had a lot more fear to contend with than I expected.
good analogy-as you see there are a lot of people who were never taught anything from the major religions except that they cause wars and blah blah-this is the way of the lower astral realms loaded with wicked spirits that cause all kinds of mayhem for their own needs, chiefly to feed on people who have been steered away at the spirit level, energy vampires, and cause neg vibes by creating chaos-the more evil, horror the more intense the vibes
