Coke Has a pH Rating One Point Higher Than Battery Acid! Here Are 9 Industrial Uses For Coke
Coca-Cola made its way to the top, and today it is world’s most popular drink. Here we would add the most popular ‘soft-drink.’
When it comes to Coca-Cola being ‘the most’ in many aspects, we would also say that it is the most acidic drink that people have every day!
How bad is that?
Dr Terri Winn explains that Coca-Cola has a pH value of 2.5, and Pepsi is the only soft drink that is more acidic than nation’s favorite drink.
Here is a brief explanation on the issue. Water is a neutral substance, and its pH is 7.
For instance, battery acid has a pH value of 1, and it has quite an destructive effect if consumed. A pH value of 1 means that the substance/liquid is super acidic. This is just a fine example of the fact that Coca-Cola is pretty close to battery acid in terms of pH values, which is absolutely awful.
Aside from being closer to battery acid than water, soft drinks are commonly associated with respiratory disorders like asthma. Heavy consumption of these drinks causes other chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases as well.
So, if you drink 1-2 cans of soft drink on your way to work or at school, you run at a 26% higher risk of developing diabetes. You also have a 20% higher risk of sudden heart attack and 75% higher risk of developing gout. This does not apply to individuals who consume soft drinks occasionally.
If this is not enough for you to stop drinking Coca-Cola that much, here is some more, and we warn you, that is not something you want to know, especially if you love your bubbly Coke.
9 Industrial cleaning uses of Coke
Even though Coca-Cola harms your health in a terrible way, that does not mean it is bad in other aspects. Speaking of cleaning, Coca-Cola is a amazingly effective cleaning agent, probably due to its high acidity.
It can do magic when it comes to cleanliness, and its power extends from removing rust to cleaning nasty oil stains.
It may not be the best drink to quench your thirst with, but it sure helps around the house. We give you some useful tips on how to use Coke and get your household in order.
1. Coca-Cola and aluminum help in removing rust and polishing chrome.
2. When soaked in Coca-Cola, old pennies get cleaned of their penny tarnish.
3. It is time for your toilet. Pour a can of Coke inside the bowl, let it do its job for a while, then flush.
4. Hate those burn pans? So do we. Pour some Coke in your dirty pans, rinse off with water and wipe clean.
5. Soak a towel in Coke and rub the paint off your metal furniture. Leave it on the surface of your furniture for a while.
6. Need to get that garage clean? Oil drippings and stains look terribly on your garage floor, so consider using Coca-Cola for this one as well. Let it soak into the stain, and wash it off using a hose.
7. Soak fabric, a sponge or aluminum foil in Coke to remove any rust.
8. Coca-Cola cleans your engine almost instantly.
9. It works well on your porcelain, too. Use it to remove any stains from other ceramics as well.

crap - crap and more crap. so is any other soda on the market.....................
That crap is so bad for you, i will give you one here too thats worse than coke its dr pepper.... my ex worked for coke and he said coke was acidic but dr pepper is double that of coke. Yes dr pepper is a brand by itself but coke bottles and distributes it for dr pepper, soda is bad no matter what brand it is....
Oh I know, dear....I not only NEVER drink Coca-Cola, nor Pepsi-Cola, but never did drink it, even when I was a young boy, I actually detested the flavour of these drinks...They are disgusting to taste and of course, my intuition was telling me, bad for health....Yep, totally agree with your diagnosis.... thanks my lovely,
Yours, sexy Drekxy ;-)
...Well... I Couldnt Drink Coke Or Pepsi.....Even If I Wanted To.....As The Caffeine In Them.....Makes Me Feel Unwell.....Hyper-Anxious-Palpitations...Yuck .Nasty....Never Really Been Into....Fizzy Pop.. ...Tho Malcolm....If Im Out With Friends....I Will Have Lemonade With My Jack Daniels....:)....Hmm...Its The Same With Those Energy Drinks.....Like Red Bull + Monster.....They Mix Them With Alcohol.....How Does That Work.?...As They Are Opposites.....Must Really Mess Your Head Up....Then Again....Maybe Thats The Idea.............
Sodas will bloat you make you sick bad for bladder and kidneys best part its a dieretic so also a liquid thst will dehydrate you....
Coca-Cola..?? Enjoy this battle over a can, between two super heroes...hehe...!! Love the special FX....
DREKX: the Hulk and Ant-Man may be future clients at my place of business. Carbonic acid (an ingredient in Coke and MANY "soft drinks") is strongly linked to diabetes and GERD, as well as esophageal erosion.
It may actually be safer to drink Jack Daniels whiskey without the Coke.
Yep, whatever the drink, make sure it has no coke in it... :-)
Yes Malcolm, I found the Marvel SFX more of an inspiration, than the damnable Coca-Cola product, which was being advertised in that vid...And any of those actors on Marvel movies, will be health conscious, considering how fit they have to get for their roles, people like Paul Rudd...Bet he does not actually enjoy it, privately...Just a promotion...Although, maybe they should stop advertising any soft drinks, like they have stopped tobacco adverts...?? Probably safer to drink a Scotch on the rocks, or a good brand of whiskey, with a small drop of Indian tonic water...hehe..
