LIVE VIDEO 24 HOURS A DAY!Welcome to the Richmond Cheetah CamPhoto Contributed By Metro Richmond ZooWelcome to the Live Cheetah Cam, an exclusive partnership between the Richmond Times-Dispatch and the Metro Richmond Zoo.Here, you’ll be able to watch live video of five adorable cheetah cubs and their mother, Lana, who gave birth to them Oct. 6 at the zoo.Breeding cheetahs in captivity is difficult, and experts say the births at the zoo in western Chesterfield County represent a significant achievement. There are three male cubs and two female cubs; none have been named yet.The zoo sits on 120 mostly wooded acres. It features about 2,000 animals, including lions, tigers, rhinos, chimpanzees, penguins, bats, pythons and alligators. It is open Monday through Saturday year-round.Jim Andelin, the zoo's director, said he hopes to put the cubs on public display at some point. Yes, the problem with animals in zoos is that THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO. If they were in the wild, they would be EXPLORING, searching for food, chasing butterflies, looking for water, looking at other animals, climbing in trees, etc. They should make the zoo more NATURAL. Put in some trees or give them some toys or something! (You notice how the mother walks back and frorth, like she's in a PRISON. So sad).

I personally would love to watch them live in the wild then in the zoo
