I feel like being in a sharing mood so here goes. This particular story is like so many others, unheard and very unsupported by the masses of people that can also be affected in the same way at any given time for any and I do mean any non-sensical reason. I take no credit for the article and the link below to where it came from will show you even more. All I have to say about what your about to see is that it is 100% genuwine, these things are really happening, and everyone needs to stick together in these upcoming times. The old faces of power are very well aware that some people just want to be peaceful and live on their own terms without wanting to be powerful publicly themselves. It is with the most heart that I ask you to take this seriously and stop giving up your own power. You are stronger than you know, you are stronger than they want you to know. So stop giving it to them and start to be that person you look up to for a model of perfection. We are all perfectly ourselves and that's all we need to be.
Is living off the Grid now a crime?

Apparently living off the grid, off the land and without government assistance is now a crime that can land you in jail and cause you to lose your home.
Government officials across the country are forming so called “nuisance abatement teams” to intimidate people into giving up their land or conforming to the governments demands and hooking back into the grid. Counties across the country are actually jailing people for living the way they want to live.
I was alerted to this video by a reader and was troubled and sickened by what the poor people in the California Desert are being forced to deal with. From being threatened with jail time if they don’t hook back into the grid to being thrown in jail because the county didn’t like the look of their homes, the people in the deserts of Los Angeles County are being terrorized by their government.
It’s a sad day when living off your own land becomes a crime. Please spread the word.

i've seen this a while ago, liked their facebook page. im a california resident, and im not so sure what to do besides focus positive energy into these families and our countries economic system. things really do portray themselves as hopeless, let us see the light <3
Actually that place is pretty dangerous to live in - there are alot of drug addicts there. But the concept is good enough.
This is really a case of jealousy - there are people there "living the dream" and other people cant have it, and they're trying to make things hard for them.
If you think about it what these people are doing is not much different than what people in the remote regions of Afghanistan or Pakistan already do. People just living in isolated communities where they really just have to rely on each other. Those people aren't on the grid either.
Its ultimately not that different up in Alaska either, though they are still on the grid, they are physically isolated from society at large.
You can think of this sort-of intentional community as a kind of Beta Test of other things yet to come.
There will be a financial turmoil in the world - and alot more people are going to be forced to take actions like these. Rather than be coralled into increasingly restrictive circumstances, people will be more likely to just cut ties altogether.
I just saw an article on this community on Yahoo, which didn't speak too badly about it to be honest, right out there for everyone to see.
I think the more people who find out about these sorts of communities, the more likely people will be inspired to think about that as an Option when things get tough.
I would say that its a Good Idea because ive heard of something like this coming in some channels, how the flow of our society will begin to focus more on the local community level than the national/global level.
well, all those stories about this stuff have been circulating for yrs now, yet I know so many examples of such living from Arkansas to California and yet none of them are in any trouble for living off grid..........

that's a great question, but the land is normally their own. the problem is the so called neighbors calling their individual properties a "nusience" live no closer than 10 miles away on either side in the case of these poor folks. Some people prefer to have it more stylized to suit their tastes, and I've honestly seen it both ways. Problem is most people that this happens to are financially unable to hire a good lawyer and take these things to court rightfully and make a statement. Matter of fact they even go for the eldest ones in order to maximum the damages. I guess their theory is the younger the person that gets screwed the more time they still have to bounce back. It's childish and sad. And living conditions should be at least functional, and as clean as possible. But people are going to do what they want to do. I just don't see why anyone would freak out about the ones who live in the middle of nowhere literally with no neighbors for miles and miles and instead of helping them clean it up they force them into fear and domination.
