  I think Maitreya is an ascended master. As long as he is a being of light I don't feel I need to make any decisions. The Creater is my 'role model' and anything that comes in between I'll know if they are from the light.

  'Peace,' and 'New World Order' don't belong in the same sentence.
  
  "In other reviews he is claimed to be the antichrist and will falsely claim to bring peace and harmony and usher in the new peace world order but really it is a cover up to who he really. In the bible it is stated that a man will come with all the values of Christ bring peace and healing but underneath it all he is the antichrist."
  
  This really, really, REALLY sounds like Obama.
  
  As for who Maitreya is and his agenda... I don't think any mortal has the true answer. I feel that he is benevolent. I don't know him well, and invoking his acquaintance is pleasant. Friendly. Passive. Observant. I am by no means a channeler, but those are my vibes and I'm stickin' to 'em.

    Thankyou Trag Black , I appreciate your answer to my dilemma. Um!!! Obama. You could be right..... I think it vitally important that we are diligent, confusing times is coming! The dark forces are going to play their games and we need to be careful. So much confusing information is out there. It’s great we can come together on this site and discuss and perhaps put things right in our minds hopefully. I am really grateful to for this site!!!!!.

      I like your response the best. People will only define someone from their own limited perspective. Good and Evil is duality of this dimensional plan. This whole discussion on Maitreya kind of reminds me of this spy vs spy cartoon.

  That's curious that someone has imply that Maitreya is the next anti-christ or the next coming of christ. I come from a buddhist background, and Maitreya is not the anti-christ. He has no relation to Jesus Christ. Maitreya is a boddhisattva (someone who has ascended or reached enlightenment), it said that Maitreya is currently residing in Tusita (heaven) awaiting his next birth, but his birth will come when the world is in utter chaos. In art and sculpture Maitreya is portray as the smiling-cheery-corpulent buddha. My mom has told me of his story and why he is cheery and corpulent. In his last human life, he was an extremely handsome man who wanted nothing more but to devote himself to reaching enlightenment and living the buddha's way, but many women and men were highly attracted to him and wanted him. He pray that he would not be so attractive so he can focus on spirituality, thus he become "fat" so people will not focus on his physical appearance.

    Thankyou so much for your reply. Wow! This is new information !!!! Perhaps if you could go to 'youtube' and look up Maitreya loads of stuff comes up. Contradicting each other and that's whats confusing. Far as I know he is an ascended master very high up in the heavenly realms serving God. He has incarnated in human form and was Lord Krishna in his past earthly life. So you can imagine all this stuff below threw me completely.

      Thank you Nikki for bring this knowledge to me. I have never looked up Maitreya on Youtube before, the knowledge I have of Maitreya comes from buddhist monk that are around me, my mom, and my own research on this "Maitreya". My knowledge of Maitreya is purely scholarly, and I take an objective view on this topic. I recommend a book for you if you're curious about the origin of this Maitreya cult: http://www.exoticindiaart.com/book/details/IDD146/
      So, as you can see I'm really baffled by the "christ" association.
