Hey friends, my cat Marshmallow has been gone for 3 nights now and I am bummed, her aunt April was same age and we had to put her to sleep 3 months ago! But Marsh kept on truckin' with one eye, the other removed due to glaucoma and cataracts, and now deaf and with one non-working eye, is missing somewhere in the woods where I live and I felt like sharing!! this life=inevitable loss :(

TY 2 u all 4 ur thoughts & prayers, but, Marshmallow is safe & sound @ the local animal shelter..
What a relief ;) Cats can be away from home for weeks, months or even years before returning, and travel great distances. I think i read somewhere they can find a way home by smellling the environment (they have "noses" all over the body)
I absolutely LOVE kittens!
Aww, sa-weet. Happy, happy, happy! I'm so glad for you. You cuddle that sweet fluffball to pieces now :-)
How fantastic!! I feel so much happiness for you. One of my sweet kitties, ( Miss Kitty, who was born on my bed and she's lived with me with her siblings for the past two years, ) disappeared four weeks ago. I have had word that she is alive, and perhaps will be guided home. It is so unusual for her to go outside for more than one day. She went from being very independent to sleeping on my bed and following me around the house. I call her name out every minute and pray that she is at least in a warm and loving environment. My kitties are my children and I take special care of them. Interesting fact...a neighbor took in a ferral cat, named him, put a collar on him, but they never feed him or take him inside in the cold night. So, he has moved in with me and refuses to go to his other home now.
Oh, I know just how u feel and dig the cool pics.. the lower one look exactly like April.. Marshmallow's late aunt! There is a reason they say cats have 9 lives.. they somehow find a way to safety!! Though Marshmallow is deaf and blind, she was lost but made her way into the street, pacing back and forth and miraculously found herself in the hands of a caring lady with much feline experience, who called her daughter and had her bring a pet carrier! They then brought her to the local animal shelter the morning after she got out! A week later, after searching and praying, I got a call from the shelter that I had called the day b4, saying, I'm pretty sure we have your cat! My prayers were 4 a sign, any sign, either let me know she's dead and at peace, or let me find her, i just want her safe/not suffering! Well, prayers get answers, not always the way we expect, hopefully they will b for ur little furry friend, mine were beyond my expectations!!!
<3 & light 2 u and your little ones!! Keep hope alive!!!
Aw, Yvonne, I hope your Miss Kitty will return home safely too. No fun losing at all losing a cat.
Thanks, Dear, I may have good news. I am waiting for the Animal Shelter to open as they have sent me a list of cats they have there and one fits the description of my Miss Kitty and she has been there since about the time she went missing. Love always to you, YvonneThese are Miss Kitty's two brothers.
Ty, guys, but, still missing! I prolly won't get a kitten if she doesn't return, cause in 4 months I will b adopting my girlfriends 2 cats when she moves in with me, and her cat's may not get along with the kitty! :( I will just have to rough it alone for awhile ):
Sorry to hear Marshmallow hasn't returned yet. Hang in there. Good to hear you have cats to look forward to though. I would send you one of mine to keep you company for a couple of months, but there's this great "pond" in between us and I can't find the teleporter lol.
Anyway, maybe a new cat will show up at your doorstep, cats tend to adopt people. You never know, felines are very much connected and sense when they're needed somewhere.
Have a most blessed day :-)
