Love and Hate -Oh I love you over here------But i hate that one over there....How can you just Love and only Love? What kind of experience is that? What is the sounding board for that ...A conflicting emotion? What should you love ?Should you love an experience that gives you pleasure? What is knowledge ?

My theory is that, hate is somewhat of an illusion, but if you do choose to hate it's a cold place, where you're emotions are frozen in time....
Love is Warm
Hate is Cold
Eventually, the Levy will break..... Eventually, you have to find forgiveness, or you are stuck in a world of suspeded progression......
Love is the most powerful energy in the Universe....
But I do understand where you are coming from... Maybe the Camel eats thorns because it can, maybe it's symbolic of something, but that doesn't have to mean that it represents hate....
There is an object.. If I am lukewarm and have no emotions about it-- then I don't really have a relationship to it at all. I am more in a state of neutrality.-- Indifference-- now if i charge it with an attraction then it is love or repulsion -- hate. Then I enter the stage of actually having a relationship. Good or bad there is an exchange of experience.
So... is it better to have a relationship -- even hate? then no relationship or emotions at all?
If hate is an illusion how could love also not be an illusion. True love is warm and hate is cold.
And love is very powerful--- but is there a battle for one over the other? And is not hate also powerful how do you compare the two?
The point for me is the indivisibility of the emotions. How they are dependant on each other in a relative way.
The camel likes the acacia leaves but the branches are very thorny and the thorns make the camel's tongue bleed.
The blood flavor mixed with the leaves makes a tasty meal for the camel. The camel enjoys the meal without considering the blood he is eating is his own.He is taking pleasure in his own pain... What a paradox!
I guess there are a lot of Paradoxes in the Universe... :)
Maybe the Camel likes the taste of Blood, that doesn't mean that represents hate in any way.... Or are we talking about pain?
Maybe hate isn't an illusion.... but from what I have seen of people who are less compassionate, it has a tendancy to leave them in a dark place...
It's all about the decisions you make..... If you are saying there can be no pleasure without pain, I don't think I believe that either...
The experience is what you put your beliefs into and what that manifests in your life.....
You can choose to be cold and heartless, or choose to be filled with love and compassion, you don't have to generate pain in someone's reality so they will understand what love is.....
Maybe there is no love and hate, maybe there is an energy beyond all of that - beyond what we know "love" and "hate" to be....
What we will learn in this life is still based on the decisions we make! ~~~ But I do see what you are saying, and understand it.....
Whether it is love or hate--------the point is the attachment to the object.
This is called meditation on the object. The object is the point. That is the point that ties you into the attachment.
And it is also the point that ties you into the third dimension. You actually need to break through and get beyond love and beyond hate. The same energy ties you into your material form. The material form is made up of light energy moving very slowly. There is a technique in Tantra (tool) which is called meditation on the bindoo. The bindoo is the point in the center of the form that manifests as a seed( bija). The geometry of form is called Yantra.
Yantra in its most perfect essence is found within the human form.
There is a reality beyond love and beyond hate in Sanskit this is calle Turiya
the fourth state.
Unfortunately it is found that even those who attain such a state inevitably fall from it and reappear to start hospitals and do philanthropy because in the state of Turiya there is eternity and knowledge but the BLISS is missing--- absent. We are creatures of Bliss of happiness --- ananda and without ananda we are incomplete.

This world is like an upside down tree--- with its roots upwards and its leaves and branches downward.
