Reducing tax cuts for the wealthy back to 1990s levels, when the economy was booming, isn't Robin Hood Obama taking from the rich and giving to the poor, it's not socialistic redistribution of wealth. It's saying, the rich, who can afford to pay a little more to help reduce the deficit, can do so.
I mean, this is how absurd the opposition gets, Obama proposed the Buffet Rule, which would make millionaires and billionaires pay a higher tax rate....which Warren Buffet supported, that's why they named it after him. And the right, and Obama haters, said no...we won't do that, because you're raising taxes on businesses and job creators. Even though, people like Buffet and Donald Trump, who know a little something about business, said, no it wouldn't do that, it's a good idea, get it done. But they blocked it, just like they blocked the American Jobs Act, just like they blocked almost everything Obama's tried to do, or fought him tooth and nail so he only got a portion of what he wanted passed.
Right!!! People are demonizing the Obama administration who is fighting for the 99% - mean while, lumping him in with the people who only care about the 1%. People are the injustice in the long run, not only the politicians.... Sure some politicians are corrupt but people are JUST as corrupt to some degree....
I liked in Obama's acceptance speech at the DNC when he said that "We were the change"... It's the people who change things not politicians...
Politicians are just a convenient "scape goat" to throw their hate on, because they don't want to take responsibility and continue to play the victim card...
As you know 'collectivism' or 'communism' was based on the beared elites studies of Russian peasant farmers in the mid 1800's and their strictness against individualism for trying to undersell other farmers. There may have been some truly heart felt attempts at trying create some type of social justice for the 'masses' but it was obviously co-opted by the power mad and turned into a method of killing 100's of millions-nazism along the same lines-I think spiritually the lower realms seized on these 'philosophies' and caused mayhem and death for their own energetic feeding
And look, they didn't even charge the Aurora Colorado shooter with NDAA. I mean, that's basically a terrorist act he did, but they didn't charge him with that, they charged him with regular law, he's on trial with lawyers and the whole nine. Doesn't that mean anything to you. I guess it's only for people who protest Obama, well...there's a million people out protesting Obama, with shirts that say how Obama is a baby killer....and they're not arrested under NDAA either. Just face it, you guys are spreading propaganda.

NDAA is for the US to imprison people when there is no law for them to imprison the person they dont like. so like for example with NDAA they could just scoop up julian assange from anywhere on earth because the US govt determines he is some sort of threat. and then they ship them to guantanamo bay, you know the place obama promised to close, but instead FORCED amendments to its CONTINUED operation which include NOT RELEASING innocent people, they dont even have to release you from gitmo if they dont feel like it, they dont have to read you rights through NDAA either, so you could be taken imprisoned, tortured, and then never let go even if you did nothing.
THAT is what obama is and does, he is a bad president just lie any other. no matter what healthcare and other things he signed, signing these two evil acts negates ANY positive thing he may have signed.
by the way, he also promised to use his veto power to STOP NDAA instead, he also forced amendments to that bill as well.
They've released almost 200 detainees from Guantanamo, some of whom actually went back to fighting with the Taliban, so I mean lol It's a difficult situation. Sure there are some innocent people there, and the litigation needs to move faster, but that's how it works usually. Litigation is always slow. I'm not apologizing for it, they need to change that, but you guys paint everything with this macabre brush, and the reality is more to the center, as it usually is.
And no Obama has done alot of good things, so many good things, these two little things don't negate anything. Especially when alot of the outrage is based on misrepresentation. How many people have been detained under NDAA? Like none. Even the Aurora shooter wasn't detained under NDAA, and he committed a horrible act you might define as terrorism. It didn't fit the Defense Department criteria for terrorist activity though...that criteria is so steep, a real terrorist might not even fit it.
NDAA is for the us govt to detain people from other countries, that is what the amendment was for, to allow them to flex their muscles anywhere on earth.

what is even more ridiculous in this all is how people praise one man, 1 man 1 president, there will be others, other have done bad things just like this one, others do good things too just like this one, however if you are unable to see the difference between what is potentially a bad idea and what you feel is ok for the country then you have no business in politics really.
are you aware that there was no deficit in canada until liberal prime minister truedeau, he ws pressured into taking on debt by america. at the time though he was considered the greates PM ever, loved by most of the country and prased for many good social programs, but also started us on the road to slavery through debt.
better start praying real hard that your poster boy hasnt made one of those mistakes, because the amendmants to NDAA and the bill keeping gitmo open and the new clause to allow no release if they so choose, set the stage for soemthing very scary, you could ask some old germans about this too, about how they thuogh hitler was so great for the country, then they realized they had mobilized for an insane leader.

It's not a bad bill lol It's not nearly half as bad as you guys make it out to be, there's one questionable clause in it, that probably won't be renewed in next years NDAA bill...because of all the controversy. You guys just use anything to paint Obama has a socialist or communist, and there's no proof at all of that, it's all innuendo, speculation, or outright misrepresentation. I mean, Obamacare isn't a government take over of health care lol And government take over of health care isn't socialism.
