New Moons traditionally define "new beginnings." They are ideal for get-togethers with friends and family, or initiation of minor projects (especially in the home or with family).

The New Moon is not recommended for any start of major new endeavors, such as launching a new corporation or an important new venture. I am aware that Donald Trump launched his bid for presidency under a New Moon, and he is doing quite well. But keep in mind that the Moon traditionally represents "the family, customers, and employees associated with the entity," and traditional electional astrology methods warn that hard eighth harmonic aspects (Conjunction, Semi-Square, Square, Sesquiquadrate, Opposition) between the Sun and Moon may bring forth much "friction and dissonance" with "the family, customers, and employees associated with the entity."

AND LOOK AT WHAT HAS HAPPENED WITH THESE NAMED GROUPS ABOVE REPRESENTED BY THE MOON: Trump's supporters have been attacked, important employees of the Trump campaign have been fired, and Trump's family is reportedly under much stress with the press badgering them with questions about Trump's character.

MY MESSAGE TO DONALD TRUMP: if there is the possibility that you are getting or receiving astrology advice, get a second opinion before making an important decision. My first astrology instructor claimed that Michael Dukakis would beat George H.W. Bush, and he refused to listen to other opinions from his staff in San Francisco.

The July 4th New Moon of 2016 takes place at 7:01 AM EST. It will be rising in the 12th house with Mercury and Venus not far away, all in the sign of Cancer. This New Moon does have major implications with the natal horoscope chart of the United States; this will be discussed after a basic analysis and interpretation of the July 4th New Moon.

Basic Astrology: The July 4th New Moon Itself (No U.S.A. Solar Return Analysis)

This New Moon placement appears to be free of affliction for the most part. But what is worrisome for the "new day and new beginning" (relative to the U.S.A., and not other countries) is the packed 12th House placement with this New Moon, along with the midpoint of Mercury and Venus equal to the Star of Sirius in the 12th House. This midpoint of Mercury / Venus can indicate "greeting friends and becoming acquainted with others" (Mercury / Venus) concerning "secrets, confusion, terrorism, or conspiracies" (12th House) that affect "ambition, pride, emotionality, leadership, fame, or wealth" (Star of Sirius).

Here are what my notes say about the Star of Sirius:

The problem with a call for an act of terrorism is that most government offices (and businesses) will be closed on Monday, July 4th. Hence, there is more likely going to be a definition of "public confusion, inconveniences, and arguments" due to the absence of possible needed  government and business services for July 4th with this lineup in the 12th House (as opposed to "terrorism or conspiracies affecting the public"). 

However, with Hillary Clinton's popularity taking a dip recently (possibly because of the recent U.S. Attorney General meeting with her husband), anything is possible. This is especially true since Obama and Hillary have acquired a massive left-wing cult of followers who take orders from their friends (i.e. George Soros) the same way and in the same manner that the followers of Charles Manson did.

If anyone actually believes that Donald Trump causes the violence against his supporters at his rallies and other events, I have some of Saddam's nuclear weapons for sale to you.

Also worrisome is the square between Uranus in the 10th House with the Ascendant at 26 degrees Cancer 53 minutes. This can define "surprises and explosions in the environment," but keep in mind it's the 4th of July, and fireworks will be going off all over the place (and hopefully nothing else).

The Trine between the New Moon in the 12th House and Neptune in the 9th House is strong, but so is the Square between Saturn in the 5th House and Neptune in the 9th House as well. Trines represent "harmony," but Neptune can represent "disappointment and deception."  Because the 9th House rules "long distance travel; religious and philosophy implications; the law," this can indicate "restrictions and limitations" (Saturn) and "disappointments and deception"  (Neptune) affecting areas involved in "long distance travel; religious and philosophy implications; the law" (9th House) which creates problems for "men and women in public" (the Sun / Moon Conjunction (a.k.a. New Moon)) involved in these 9th House areas mentioned. 

Simple interpretation of the above? Be wary for potential problems with the public that concern long-distance travel, religious and legal groups, and legal and philosophy issues this July 4th (i.e. travel appropriately, and do not discuss  religion, philosophy, law or politics unless you are with the right group to do so).

Hence, the good news is that the basic astrology picture of the 12th House lineup is likely to indicate simple "public confusion, public arguments, and public inconveniences" for this 4th of July.  This is opposed to any sort of major violence involving terrorism. Also note that many businesses and government operations in the U.S.A. will not be open on the 4th of July, so that limits a lot of public places available for acts of terrorism. 

But here's the problem. There has recently been an international problem with a run of terrorist activities. I decided to give this a look with the 90 Degree Uranian Dial.

And I didn't like what I saw.

Advanced Astrology: Traditional Uranian Midpoint Formulas For Terrorism, Murder, And Death With The July 4th New Moon  

I'm going to be optimistic and say that nothing happens per terrorism on U.S. soil for July 4th and increase this possibility for the next week after. This is because my last call for U.S. based and U.S. government sponsored terrorism (i.e. recent Summer Solstice 2016 prediction) failed to deliver any real results so far (unless one wants to include the recent terrorist attacks in Bangladesh and Turkey as qualifying for partial accuracy of this 2016 Summer Solstice prediction. This is because ISIS is using U.S. military weapons (given to them by the C.I.A.) in an attempt to oust Assad of Syria, and they are now going after other targets not as well armed as Assad's Syria.

Lets take a look a Mars / Saturn (below), a classic midpoint formula for "death, accidents." 

Interpretation

"Death or accidents took place. This resulted in a sudden intervention by the government into a vicious act or an act of multiple murders. High-level criminals or a criminal government was involved in the activities of this horror act, along with open and concealed weapons and hidden activities."

Again, this is a minor possibility. I'm still betting on the basic astrology call for "public confusion, public inconveniences, and public arguments," but no major or shocking event similar to the recent activity in Bangladesh and Turkey.

Now let's look at Uranus / Hades below, which represents "a very mean and nasty act; murder:" 

Interpretation

"A very mean and nasty act took place that involved murder and very advanced technology. Important individuals involved were also involved with organized crime and propaganda (or religion), and the act transformed friends and groups of people worldwide."

Again, I expect no major shocking changes for this 4th of July. I think the basic interpretation will win out this time, and not the advanced interpretation (like it did the last time). But please keep in mind that anything is possible, especially with the people who issue orders to Obama and Hillary. The U.S. Attorney General openly broke the law recently with a private meeting with Bill Clinton. This may indicate that the people who issue orders to Obama and Hillary are getting desperate, possibly due to Donald Trump now running even with Hillary Clinton (according to a recent CNN poll).

Finally, let's look at Mars / Hades below ("murder, nasty accident"):

Interpretation

"A murder took place that involved a deception in the environment with men and women. It was a great success for leadership involved in propaganda or religious areas, and the great deception had a transforming effect worldwide."

I am aware that the previous three advanced astrology interpretations do seem to indicate a possibility of some sort of terrorist act taking place. Nevertheless, I'm going to stay optimistic and state that the probability is that nothing major or world-affecting will happen except what was outlined in the basic astrology interpretation ("public inconveniences, public arguments, and public confusion"). But as I have mentioned before, anything is possible since Donald Trump has closed the gap between himself and Hillary Clinton, and Clinton's left-wing cult of followers may try something desperate and violent.

The 2016 July 4th New Moon And the Horoscope Of The United States Of America

The United States gets a "double whammy" with a transiting New Moon taking place on top of the natal Sun position. Not only does the horoscope get a Solar Return (which offers minor prediction possibilities for the next 365 day Solar year) but it also gets it's own "New Moon" due to the transiting Moon position in conjunction with the U.S.A. natal Sun position.

This has tremendous implications for defining a major "new beginning for the United States of America." This includes a "new beginning" relative to "reputation" since the New Moon forms a near perfect sesquiquadrate (135 degree angle) with the Midheaven (at 26 degrees Aquarius 24 minutes) and also "conflict with government authority" due to a Square forming between the New Moon (on top of the natal Sun position in the 1st house) with natal Saturn in the 5th House.

THE SUN / MOON MIDPOINT PLACEMENT TRADITIONALLY REPRESENTS "MEN AND WOMEN TOGETHER," OR  "THE PUBLIC." NOTE THAT SQUARES REPRESENT "TECHNICAL CONFLICTS." AND BECAUSE THIS U.S. NEW MOON SOLAR RETURN PLACEMENT SQUARES SATURN (WHICH TRADITIONALLY REPRESENTS "IMPORTANT OLDER PEOPLE OR PEOPLE IN POWER, GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS, AND PEOPLE IN AUTHORITY"), THIS CAN DEFINE A BIG CONFLICT OR A REVOLT OF SOME KIND BETWEEN THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND THE U.S. GOVERNMENT AND AUTHORITY FIGURES FOR THE NEXT SOLAR YEAR.

 Let's look at some transits of this New Moon event to the U.S.A. chart below:

The New Moon transit to the natal Sun in the 1st House is forming a trine to transiting Neptune ("deception, confusion, disappointment") in the 10th House ("the ruling party, the president, and the goals of the party or president in power"). This looks like more acts of deception and confusion (or attempts at such acts of deception and confusion) may be in the works for the rest of 2016. This may also define "disappointment for the ruling party and president," but Hillary and Obama are both ex-C.I.A. people who will stoop to any level and break any law to get results. This includes the allowing of a U.S. Attorney General to privately meet with the spouse of an individual being investigated by the U.S. Justice Department (who is also running for U.S. president).

The Trine ("general harmony") between transiting Chiron ("secret or advanced technology") in the 10th House with natal Mercury in the 2nd House ("important sources of communications or the media") may indicate good news for "the alternative internet media not in support of the ruling party or the president in power" (AT BEST) or good news for "the advanced mainstream media who supports the ruling party or the president in power" (AT WORST). 

Note that transiting Pluto ("transformation, crisis") is currently in the U.S. 8th House of "secret activities of the elite." Transiting Saturn ("restriction, limitations") is in the U.S. 6th House of  "civil and military services." I think these two transits define the alternative internet media winning with this transit. This is evident due to recent reports of the sudden growing number of many very angry employees of the F.B.I. (and also within the U.S. military ranks) regarding actions of the current U.S. President and senior officials of the U.S. Justice Department (gee, I wonder why).

Conclusion

2016-2017  is going to be a wild and possibly violent Solar year in the United States. But also expect great positive social changes, especially with possible extreme and negative public responses as to how the public views the mainstream media and also on how they view the current government leadership in charge. I say it's long overdue.
