Sedona is a scenic and spiritual retreat that everyone should visit at least once. The area is breathtakingly magnificent. Many people who come here are tourists, but there are others who are here for spiritual quests. Here are a few photos:
Sedona's Kachina Woman Energy Vortex (Of The Boynton Canyon Trail)
The Kachina Woman is the pillar-like rock formation. Legend tells us she is balancing the canoe on her head that her dad carved out of cottonwood to keep her safe from a flood that was prophesized to wipe out their village. Kachina survived the flood and went on to bear a son who in this picture, is represented by the smaller rock formation that she is looking at to the right.
Sedona is home to a vortex energy that many people have experienced as they hike what is believed to be sacred ground. This trail in Boynton Canyon is said to be the only male/female energy vortex that exists in America.
And yes, I do feel that I was "healed" in some way after completing my hike here.
No UFOs spotted, and there are other UFO hunters here (and they also have not been successful).
NEXT: Sedona's other energy vortex locations.
I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

which photos have been taken by You?
I'd like to know since I'd like to compliment you for the ones I know You took. :)
Acute Observer: I apologize that I am unable to use my Sony blogger camera (or have the time to learn to changeover) with Windows 7. These photos were not taken by me, but these are the sights I've seen driving around Sedona. I did do a video with the Sony blogger on the top of the child of the Lady of Kachina rock formation (with a spectacular sunset scene); hopefully I can figure out how to transfer it with Windows 7.
I may need to get a new video system; I used an old system with the "UFOs And Billy The Kid" series two years ago.
true ... very beautiful Malcolm, ... feeling reverence to the mighty nature ... ;))
did you know that Drunvalo Melchizedek lives there too ... ;))
thanks,,,I´m enjoying this trip, too...
it's like being inside a dome of Stars-WOW
PET ROCK: Thanks for the info. And yes, you nailed it. The stars here are great at night time. My only issue is the bats. I don't know if this is aura related, but I do attract bats on the hike trails after the Sun goes down.
me too-a bat skimmed the yop of my head. I could feel it's belly fuzz on my forehead
nice!! there is a plateau not to far from town where you can drive up to at night and view the almost unbelievable star clusters etc. breathtaking!!!
