First off, the Ruidoso,New Mexico area is spectacular. There are steep hills covered with tall pines and tundra vegetation during the summer, and then covered with snow during the winter (depending on temperature, which has been noticeably dropping each successive winter). Myself and others in Ruidoso got to witness a spectacular lightning storm when I arrived, and a nurse I talked with claimed there are a lot such storms there. There are American Indian gambling casinos in Ruidoso, as well as non-gambling hotels with incredible views. And yes, there is winter-time snow skiing that is "pennies on the dollar" compared to Europe, Boulder-Colorado, or Lake Tahoe.-California.

FIVE STARS FOR MOTEL STAY: I stayed at the Smokey Bear Motel in Capitan, New Mexico, for less than $60.00 a night. The water was hot, the coffee was good, the staff were friendly, and the bed was very comfortable and clean. And the air conditioner worked. It was the best location for both Ruidoso and the historic Lincoln County District, being 10 minutes away from both Ruidoso and the Lincoln County District (where the Lincoln County War took place, and noted wild west outlaw Billy The Kid made his famous break-out and escape from jail, killing both deputies assigned to watch him). The "New Mexico Scientists For Sound Science" group (WHO MAY BE A U.S. GOVERNMENT PAID FRONT OF ROSWELL DEBUNKERS) are unfortunately gaining success with their striking blows of "logic" against the UFO community of Roswell. This is the same group of scientists claiming that "pancaking of the building floors" was what took down the World Trade Centers during 9/11 (despite the video evidence that the buildings dropped into their shadow at the speed of gravity).
There is a noticeable absence of reminders of the famous 1947 UFO incident in downtown Roswell (compared to two years ago). Most of Roswell's Main Street lamp posts with alien-heads were absent, and people were nervous talking about the Roswell incident. But there are still those who like to remind everyone of the 1947 event.

HERE'S OUR U.S.GOVERNMENT AT WORK. Roswell is now becoming a mecca for drug sales via gangs in L.A., because they can make more money in Roswell than they can in L.A. The original Black Panthers (and not the "new" Black Panthers) had their communities smashed by the same types of drugs after the F.B.I.'s COINTELPRO was implemented, and not before.
Name a better way than illegal hard drugs that will discredit and downgrade a community. This includes communities with members who question the U.S. government about certain facts regarding what their relatives told them regarding what took place in Corona, New Mexico during July, 1947.
