Seventeen years after Rev. Kevin Annett publicly disclosed evidence that over 50,000 children died in Canada’s church-run “Indian residential schools”, Canadian governments have finally confirmed this genocidal mortality rate after releasing hitherto-concealed death records from the schools.

Until this week, government and church officials have either denied or stayed silent about Rev. Annett’s documented estimate. But previously “segregated” statistics of the deaths of residential school children made public last Friday by different provinces indicate that “tens of thousands” of these children died in the facilities, which were operated primarily by the Roman Catholic, Anglican and United Church of Canada.
In British Columbia alone, government records indicate that nearly 5,000 children between the ages of four and nineteen died in the residential schools until 1956, although the schools continued in operation until 1996, putting the total death figure even higher. Rev. Annett’s research established that the high death rate of over 40% of the students was the result of deliberately infecting them with tuberculosis and denying the sick treatment. “This news officially confirms what our Court established in its lawful verdict of February 25, 2013” stated George Dufort of the International Common Law Court of Justice in Brussels today.
“Canada and its churches, the British Crown and the Vatican stand guilty as charged as disestablished criminal bodies and can no longer have any lawful or legitimate constitutional authority if the rule of law is to be followed”.
This week’s official admission of massive deaths in the Indian residential schools comes on the heels of shocking new evidence showing that a Vatican and Church of England child sacrifice cult known as the Ninth Circle operated at the same schools for over a century, including at the Mohawk residential school in Brantford, Ontario. This is their victory, as it belongs to all the missing children. But it will only mean something if Canadians act on this final proof of Genocide by church and state to enforce the verdict and arrest warrants of the Common Law court.
And more than that, it’s now time to establish a constitutional Republic in Canada that is free and independent of the British Crown and the legacies of Vatican-sponsored Genocide”.

Hellen, yes there are still abuses by government/church and it is not just against Native people's, all people's are effected. The thing is dwelling on what has happened will not change things. One must develop a vision of the way they wish their life to be and turn away from the old way it is. To dwell on less than positive thoughts etc will get you more of the same. We must strive to increase our energy vibration and to do that we need to open our hearts and love...it is all about love.
I am not writing this as an attack, simply the way I see things and not understanding the years of resenting both a government, the church and all Canadian people. I have personally experienced the hate that is boiling in native people. I have listened to a native university professor tell our class she dislikes Canadian people. I have to ask myself, what did I ever do to you, I asked what is it going to take for you and your people to heal?? She didn’t know.
I am not understanding why this is coming out now?? The article reads like it is something new. The truth has been out for years. This is not something new, this has been known to most Canadians what has happened in residential schools in past history. Most Canadians were most empathetic when they heard this sad news. More information is not going to heal. Focusing on it is not going to heal.
Not one person has been brought to trial you say, how could they??? This was ages ago and the people who were responsible (both in the government and the churches) are dead now. We are talking about timelines around 1876, until the mid-20th century.
What do we do with the truth that we have been given you ask?? What you do with this is totally up to you! it is YOU that must heal. The government has given financial remuneration years ago, it also came out with a formal apology in front of ALL Canadian people. What more is needed from ‘out there”,?? Just my opinion but how about turning ‘in here’ and heal what is within. It is the only way. Money and apologizes have done nothing. The old victim/perpetrator roles will keep one in duality and living a life of pain. No one can heal another, we must do it for ourselves if we want to heal and not pass it forward to future generations.
Native people and their culture have wonderful ways of being. There are tools to heal. It is such a shame to watch.
Here is what has been done so far: (Government)
The government funded a Commemoration initiative, which consisted of events, projects and memorials on a national and community level.
The Aboriginal Healing Foundation was established in 1998 with a $350-million grant from Indian and Northern Affairs Canada to help former students who were physically or sexually abused.
The settlement also promised a Truth and Reconciliation Commission to examine the legacy of the residential schools. Compensation called Common Experience Payments which 1.9 Billion was paid out so far and expires in 2015.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper delivered an official apology to residential school students in Parliament on June 11, 2008.
As for the Canadian churches:
Many churches implicated in the abuse apologized in the 1990s. Archbishop Michael Peers offered an apology on behalf of the Anglican Church of Canada in 1993, stating "I am sorry, more than I can say, that we were part of a system which took you and your children from home and family."
Four leaders of the Presbyterian Church signed a statement of apology in 1994. "It is with deep humility and in great sorrow that we come before God and our aboriginal brothers and sisters with our confession," it said.
The United Church of Canada formally apologized to Canada's First Nations people in 1986, and offered its second apology in 1998 for the abuse that happened at residential schools.
"To those individuals who were physically, sexually, and mentally abused as students of the Indian Residential Schools in which the United Church of Canada was involved, I offer you our most sincere apology," the statement by the church's General Council Executive said.
On April 29, 2009, Pope Benedict XVI expressed his "sorrow" to a delegation from Canada's Assembly of First Nations for the abuse and "deplorable" treatment that aboriginal students suffered at Roman Catholic Church-run residential schools.

but then how about the rest of us ... we may soon as well be 'indigenous people too' - the karma is funny thing - what goes around comes around ... we are already, kind of witnessing similar proses directed for the rest of us as well.
Hellen i don't know what to say ... i am really sorry. Native people are very resilient and have great warrior spirit within them, they survived then and they will survived and rise now.
some times i don't even want to imagine what else we don't know ... apparently a lot ...
perhaps that is one of the reasons why those "people' are afraid of death?and they hold on to the life with everything they've got knowing the reciprocation of their actions?
But then again even the 'vicious animals' could be tamed by gentle hand and true sincere kind heart and patience. So i would rather believe that nothing is really lost underneath all 'superficial layers'.
Thanks for sharing this Ara...It saddens me that I am positive it is true what they did, but also know that the ITCCS has absolutely no authority to do anything about their findings as they have no legal powers at all. So even though it is a victory for the truth, nothing is going to happen to the "crown and the Vatican, and most people won't even know about the findings because nothing at all will happen to the guilty parties....The have had findings a lot of times, but that is as far as it goes....they have no authority to do a dam thing....wish to hell they did have powers to enforce their findings, but they don't....I don't see the Queen getting any flack or the papacy changed one iota...so very sad.....and like you said Ed, people are not going to accept that it even happened...and you are so right...people will shoot the messenger and not the people who did these heinous crimes...I am sharing this all over the place, but people will not listen..my catholic friends will call me a nasty piece of work, and disrespectful of their hallowed religious beliefs...but you know what I don't care....I expect to get shit on, but people have a right to know what has happened....It is a disgrace on humanity...
