Hi all. Ok, this may sound trippy but check this out. I recently figured out that as an empath I discovered this new ability I have and I call it, metallic awareness. It is where I can open up my heart to the energy of different metals, it seems very easy for me to do and I will tell you why. First, I know that metals have auras, we can sense them through our minds if we focus our energy on them. Whilst other materials such as plastics and other things like wood, rubber and glass have a more obsorbent feel, because metal is hollow and it attracts like things, it makes it definitely easier to pick up on its energetic fields. Now, each signature of metal reverts to its own energy field. Silver is my favourite because its aura feels comforting to me. I can tell you a few of what there energy symbols means. Silver means emotionally empathic, gold means betrayal or strength of weakness, bronze is strength or evolution, copper is unique but similar to iron, iron is also strength but non-emotional strength, diamond is related to crystal which is the eyes of the universe, and the list goes on. However, if you tap in to these energy fields, I think that you will find a better understanding of what energy that you most resonate with.

Its most likely a nickle allergy as its very common and is a chemical reaction of your skin acids to the nickle itself..as in Gold allergy its the alloy in the gold as pure gold isnt used in jewelery its too soft they add alloys to harden it..same as with Silver...Sterling silver is actually 92.5% fine silver and the balance is typically copper, to which skin is sensitive. Argentium, a recently developed sterling alloy replaces copper with germanium and appears not as likely to cause allergies. At the first sign of metal allergy, quit wearing any jewelry which you already know and see if your condition quickly clears up. Meanwhile, since nickel is the most likely metal to cause contact dermatitis, it might be useful to test some of your jewelry and other items for nickel content. Nickel-testing kits are available through dermatologists, pharmacists and online and do not require a prescription. Simple to use, you place a drop on a cotton swab and rub the jewelry. If the cotton turns pink, nickel is present. The solution is not harmful to your jewelry. Be aware other items may also cause nickel allergy. They include cell phones, eyeglass frames, coins, zippers, door and cabinet hardware, tools, metal buttons and snaps, and some fabric finishes.

Your safest approach is to wear possibly only sterling, high karat gold,Palladium alloyed white gold or one of the hypo-allergenics such as surgical grade stainless steel.or if you cant be bothered with all the hoopla hoopla I suggest you wear plastic jewellery,besides its funky and then theres bone as well thats in fashion these days with ethnic jewelery,you can still adorned yourself with the pretty things without the reactions..
