Lewis Hamilton is launching the world’s first international plant-based burger chain, adding to his growing business empire.
The Formula One superstar has made no secret of his plant-based diet as a way to stay in tip-top shape for his gruelling sport - and do his bit for the planet too.
Hamilton already has his own fashion collection with Tommy Hilfiger and now he has opted to dabble in the food industry, partnering with Beyond Meat and Unicef ambassador, Tommaso Chiabra, to launch Neat Burger.
The first Neat Burger restaurant is due to open in central London on September 2nd and the brand has ambitious plans to expand globally to 14 franchises within the next two years.
Neat Burger's tasty menu will consist of three core burgers - ‘The Neat,’ ‘The Cheese’ and ‘The Chick’n’, as well as ‘The Hot Dog,’.
Diners can also get stuck into sides including skinny fries, sweet potato fries and tater tots.
The chain will also stock Just Water, the eco-conscious brand launched by Jaden Smith in 2018, as well as ethical Lemonaid sodas.
There will also be dairy-free, soft serve, coconut and soya-based milkshakes and plant-based alcoholic refreshments in the shape of Toast Ale.
Tommaso Chiabra added: “The meat industry is the biggest contributor to greenhouse emissions and its environmental impact is no longer sustainable together with the growth of the population."
Neat Burger aims to disrupt the non-sustainable food industry and become a force for good.
