My Egyptian Death Dream

It was many years ago when I was still in High School but the dream of which i speak was one of the most vivid and powerful dreams I have ever had.

I was lying on a stone table in a dark chamber while Anubis stood above me, he seemed to me just a guy wearing an Anubis mask btw, and then he stuck me in my right shoulder with some kind of needle.  Instantly my body began to tingle like your arm does when it goes numb and the sensation kept increasing throughout my entire body until it was almost unbearable but just before it reached that point... I woke up.

The first thing that ran through my mind was the notion that that was what death truly feels like, I can't explain how or why I thought that, I just knew that's what death felt like.

I certainly believe in past lives and as I've studied some basic teachings have come to believe that I was living during certain time periods, WWII is one but I died in battle I believe, and the other major time period I resonate with is ancient Egypt. I'm curious to know if anyone else has had a vivid death dream like this, or if anyone can corroborate the sensation of dying maybe as the result of an NDE; I myself have never had one. I've always remembered this dream and it has certainly influenced some of my writing when I have to describe a character's death from their own point of view. I think it would be cool to discuss this with others.

Love and Light,
-Kevin

  • I had a experience with Anubis after my last NDE. It was weird because my whole room including him turned into al the furniture and objects in my room when i was slowly opening my eyes. The experience stayed with me for years now because of this fact. I did not have a negative feeling from him, it was like he was explaining al kinds of things to me. He is not the only being or death personality i talk to at night, i talk to Plato to sometimes. It al depends on what i want or need to know or learn.
    • Very interesting, it's difficult for me to recall but I think he was telling me something too before pricking me with the needle. I don't remember feeling fear or anything, just the unbearable numbing sensation which was powerful enough to wake me up... maybe I was sleeping on my arm after all :)
