I would like to know if anyone else out there has any children that are going through 'difficult behaviour' phases???
My son is almost four years old, and he seems to get pleasure from winding up all the adults, in his life. (refer to young childrens faces when they are misbehaving, you will usually see a naughty little smirk! Lol) He doesn't like being reasoned with, and hates being given time out, shouted at, and privellages being taken away, but still 5 minutes after disciplinary action, he is at his wind up mission again, even though heunderstands the consequences of his own behaviour.
Is anyone else going through any similar behaviour patterns with their children? And if so, what direction do you take to curb the bad behaviour?
Any comments/feedback/similarities will be muchos appreciated. =)
Maybe we could start a group on this subject of our badly behaving little angels?!
Peace, love and light, of the highest order.

Some very supportive advice here! =)
I am laughing at my term 'wind up merchant' because I am picturing my sons cheeky little pixie face when he is being said 'wind up merchant'! Lol.
I can take comfort in the fact that I can recognise the difference between 'wind up merchant' and concerning signs in my boys behaviour. And I am meditating more often and using mindfull breathing alot more, in my day to day routines, to gain some control over my own emotional balance and reactions.
Thankyou for your contribution.
Hope you are well and happy.
Happy sunday.

My boy is a wonder, and in no way do I mean any negative by starting this discussion!
He too is a very caring and loving soul, and we connect on a deep level when my attention is all his. We have some amazing conversations that you would never conceive a three year old would understand.
I have two children. My daughter is 7 and the absolute opposite, behaviour wise, to her brother. But I believe that both of them are very intuitive and open to their senses.
Sometimes it is difficult to get us all on the same level, and enjoying time together. It is hard work sometimes trying to achieve balance.
I have not researched adhd or any other behavioural disorders as I don't really believe that there is such a thing, (no offence or negativity is aimed there, and correct me if me I am wrong =))
I felt that this discussion would be relevant to other parents out there, and I'm enjoying reading all of the various responses, and common ground.
Thankyou, once again for all of your feedback.
Much love.

I will check out the website you have recommended, it is greatly appreciated.
In no way did I ever expect perfection in becomming a parent, but sometimes it is a little difficult. Infact it is very difficult at times, to align our energies, and achieve balance within our beautiful little family unit.
Maybe the way that I worded this discussion, came across in a negative light???
It was meant in a humourous way.
If we can't laugh and make light of our circumstances, and life in general, what on earth would we do to get by at times??!!
=)
Hope you are well and happy.
Peace, love and light.
