I cannot beleive the state and extent of the oil spill in the Gulf Of Mexico.. every second that passes more and more oil is spilt.. this is destoying our world in more ways than one and it is heartbreaking to see it unfolding before our eyes...
What I don't get is.. where is the cleanup gangs.? This has been going on for 50 days now and all that seems to be going on is the concentration of capping and stopping the spill outlet. That is all good but also where are the helpers in cleaning up the spillage in the mean time and the damage being done to the ecosystem and the birds and sea life.. I see the reports of the beautiful birds struggling in the waters covered in oil and no-one is going to their aid.. how can the camera operator even film without dropping the cameras and going to help them? How come there hasn't been loads of dying fish washing up on the shores?
Why has it become a society worrying about the cost of the cleanup and the amount of claims for damages and loss of incomes resulting from it as its first priority? It is a joke, as without it being cleaned up there will be nothing left of the ecosytem for them to even have a income, etc
What happened to good old fashioned volunteers and caring people all joining together and just getting in there and doing something about it.. since when do we need the governments approval to help save our backyards?
I have done a bit of research myself on the web and have come across a bioremediation way to fix the spillage using microbes that eat it up and clears it up.. and ths is available in the USA..
check this link out to discover for yourself and if you think it is the way to go , keep spreading the word and get the public onto it...
