The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 46% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty-three percent (53%) disapprove.
The latest figures include 29% who Strongly Approve of the way the president is performing and 44% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -15. (see trends).

Congress and the president have authorized oil drilling in Alaska’s Arctic National Wildlife Refuge even though more voters than ever are opposed to it.
The aggressive development of domestic shale oil resources in recent years has lowered gas prices at the pump and dramatically lessened dependence on foreign oil. Most voters think shale oil development is likely to end that dependence.

The Trump administration is cutting the U.S. contribution to the United Nations. The United States has long given more money to the UN than any other country in the world, with U.S. taxpayers now funding 22% of the regular UN budget and 28% of its separate peacekeeping budget. Just 29% of voters think we get our money’s worth out of the UN.
