I have been thinking about what it means to be a master. What is it? How does one become a master? I want to state for the record I do not believe I have achieved this state within myself. I have been thinking about it in regards to my own life, and how to apply it.
I have started to see myself as a self-contained unit connected straight to the heavens. I started to feel that "reacting" to anything outside myself was almost unneeded. Remaining in complete composure is also easier said than done when bills are due, the kids are in revolt, and my sister launches attacks. It would be my reaction to them which would indicate my growth as a mystic, and a mystics growth can be measured in love.
I have been thinking about how it is an internal job of raising ones vibrations, self-discipline, and wisdom. The cultivation and unification of yourself to a heightened degree. The state of mastery is a state of internal maturation. It is a spiritual maturing in which the individual raises above themselves. I think that after an individual has turned inward to heal, transform, seek the highest degree within all awhile the baggage of the past drop away. They will start to naturally step into the ring of mastery.
I can visualize the master in any given moment saying out loud or internally, "thank you for lying to me today it gives me the opportunity to____(whatever that may be)__________________." "Thank you because in this moment it gives me a chance to_____(whatever that may be)_____________." In that moment of bowing when someone has "done you wrong" one has started to become a master.
In the state of mastery situations become an honor. Even, and especially if it is in regards to someone who lied to you or cheated or stole, "done you wrong." This does not mean to roll over and accept abuse from people, places or things, but to be mindful of your reactions. It is in those moments you will be given an opportunity to demonstrate mastery. It will be a moment of teaching, healing, gaining trust, moving yourself forward in many many ways.

very well spoken I think it is all wrapped in persception and as we heal ourselsves the veils drop away to change that perception.
My Dearest Love Child of God/Goddess. It is with great pleasure that I may be able to assist you with your questions because I KNOW. The mere fact that you ponder the issue of being a "Master" means that deep within your soul in your unawakened consciousness before you even chose this incarnation, means that you are a Master. I too, walk the path that you walk and had the same questions that you have. As an elder (48 year old woman) with multiple life experiences before and during this incarnation, I can speak honestly about that which you ask. You can accept consciously that you are a Master, but it is not until you have had what I term as a "metamorphosis" or total transformation like a butterfly and with some it may take numerous years and others very little to learn what true Mastery is. It takes a lot of work on your path to mastery. It doesn't mean that you are better than others or superior for that is the EGO mind. You have to learn to "Let go, Let GOD". Learn to trust all of the instincts and intuitions that you have because that is your soul speaking to you. That IS GOD speaking to you. True mastery leads you to knowing that you aren't separate from GOD but that you are GOD. Did he not say that he created us in his image? His images isn't the physical bodies that we carry that absorbs and protects the GOD LIGHT within. Many people don't believe in GOD because it isn't a being that they can see and touch. Those of us that do believe in God chose to believe in a being that we can't see. For GOD is but a Pure, Divine spirit. GOD is light, GOD IS LOVE. Therefore, that makes us GODS & GODDESSES.
My dear, to become a master means that you are a master of your own soul and you live with love in your heart. That love in your heart becomes like the first drop of rain that drops upon a still pond of water that causes a ripple affect. When you become the master of your own life and live in love it affects others in the most positive ways, even if you don't speak, but merely give a smile. You have touched the soul of another being and that cycle will continue through infinity.
I hope these words may help you or anyone else who may read them. Thank you for your response! You are right nothing truely ends, and there is always something more to learn. I am always amazed on how compassion, love can always get deeper and fuller as if there is no limit to them.
Personally in my opinion we are masters, and just forgotten it ;)
to be a master, act like a master would... (i recommend studying the stories of the AM's) and learning from their teachings and applying it *if it resonates* in the heart... :)
being a master doesnt mean being a *doormat* and being nice to everybody and getting abused...
being a master is recognising your soverignity and taking ownership
about self respect and respect for others
to speak your mind and walk your talk with good intentions and a loving heart
and to walk this earth with confidence, in love, with faith , and in complete trust...
(in the divine plan... and in the divine soul...)
this simple awareness raises vibration to light/love... which is is enough to attain the *spiritual gifts* such as alchemy, etc
this ensures mastery and masterhood... !
Thank you STAR!!! Yes, to be a master you can choose in that given moment to become one and to start acting like a master would. The saying "turn the other cheek" that people use is actually more of an empowering saying than people realize, cause in those times when someone struck you and if you turned the other cheek they would no longer be able to strike you again using another hand. I do think that also we have to do some clearing to move through and drop old conditioned responses one would normally have to people, places and things.......
