Cycles of mania and depression occur with the seasons for the most part. There is evidence of large numbers of depression taking place with loss of or a reduction of sunlight and temperature. Sunlight is important for the body function of making vitamin D3, which has antidepressant effects. Here is a chart from General Psychiatry (Vol 41, January 1984) showing the inverse relationship between depression with sunlight and temperature:
Note that the rate of change in depression on the top graph accelerates greatly during the fall region and spring region. These are critical areas in the sense that intense "mood swings" take place with bipolar patients during these seasons, as depicted in this smoothed frequency distribution graph below. Note that fall and spring bring on greater periods of depression, along with suicide:
Finally, here's a graph of Swiss suicide cases. Notice that spring is highest, but the rate moves back to the average in early fall and near Christmas-time:
Hence there is a case to be made for population "mood swings" in spring and fall. The revolutionary and truth seeking energies of Uranus will be in a technical conflict square aspect with the secretive and analyzing energies of Pluto. Uranus is the logical defender of society as a whole at his best, but the mad scientist at his worst. And Pluto is the in-depth researcher at his/her best, and the gangster at his /her worst.
Therefore:
this is a conflict of energies that can either be a conflict over what's best for society (at best) to a possible conflict resulting in a violent confrontation (at worst). And maybe some "quasi-reactions" in the middle, such as close violent conflicts.
The Uranus square Pluto transit takes place in these time-frames for 2014 in mid- April and early December, and a case can be made whereby it is probable that there will be some sort of confrontation between those with concerns and those who have no concerns for such individuals (and an emotional and possibly engaging reaction to take place from either party after this confrontation takes place). Let's hope there is no bloodshed.

You're correct, but I've heard him say it that way and the way I stated. I remember he had a six-digit amount of money pulled from his commodity trading account (for no reason related to trading) and he was very angry at the time he said this. But your statement is definitely the standard statement he currently uses with "Trends." Thanks!
