  I like to play with my google earth too. Now Dan below said "Picture 3 is not a radar glitch but a missing piece of the "picture" as no satellite covered that "blank" area on it's last pass over it.

  Hmmm well, I made this video awhile back and as you will see in the complianation, there were some pretty big missing gaps that the satiellites seemed to miss as they were covering everything around them. So check it out and tell me what you think after watching this... The best shots are at the end with new years eve and the inauguration day!

    I like the video. Good job. As for my first comment, I DID end it with "So they say". :-)
    There are things that look like normal omissions due to an area not being scanned at a particular time and OTHER things that look like obvious cover up's or touch up's. The North and South Poles are great examples of blatant editing and cover up. I just installed the newer version of Google Earth and I'll be playing with it to see what shows for me. "I" tend to look up close at places I've been rather than pull out and look at the planet as a whole. I'll have to switch that. Either way, I feel, or I know, that there are others up there or out there watching. I'd just be thrilled if they dropped in frequency a bit so they could be seen w/the naked eye rather than special cameras. The earth, as in those of us ON it, need to KNOW, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that we are NOT alone and that things CAN be a lot better. Come on folks (ET's) pop in, say HI in a public forum and let's get things moving UP.

  Hmmm.
  Picture 1 is missing US (earth) and the big alignment is for fall of 2012. :-)
  Picture 2 is the bulk of the light blocked (like they do our sun) so they can see what's next to it and
