Pope Francis on Friday renewed his call on global leaders to redistribute wealth from the rich to the poor.
Francis made his plea during an address to U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and other U.N. leaders gathered in Rome for an audience with the pope, CBS News reports.
Railing against an “economy of exclusion,” Francis called for a state-led global initiative to close the widening gap between rich and poor through redistribution.
“Specifically, this involves challenging all forms of injustices and resisting the economy of exclusion, the throwaway culture and the culture of death which nowadays sadly risk becoming passively accepted,” Francis said.
The comments were in keeping with the Pope’s previous critiques of income inequality at the World Economic Forum in January and in a private March meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama.
The Pope and Ban skirted the issue of an ongoing U.N. investigation into the Vatican’s handling of sexual abuse cases and briefly touched upon the Catholic church’s stances on birth control and abortion.

Sorry but I have questions? Who wrote the bible? Who interpreted it and who publicised it? If there is one law the why are we all not under it, the original?. Do politicians get a relaxation? How many versions are there now? Who is interpreting the previous into the next?...too many questions...If we came from the apes and evolved the why or they haven't evolved into spiritual entities? If you believe everything you are told then.. good luck too you! Why does the special timeframes of religion work around astronomy? Whyare we told that these things happen in relation to predictions? Why are wars religious?, if mankind is to treat each other with love and respect the why are we told and conditioned to be so separate?..
Not all wars are religious. Many wars are due to one group upset with another group who won't honor their pretty pieces of paper called money.
But then again, using the excuse of "my God can beat up your God" is a great smoke screen to cover up the fact that powerful people have a money addiction problem and a problem with fair competition.
It's not the war that's religious, it's the soldiers interpretation of religion that is warlike.
Some people simply believe that their version of the faith is the only right one and that everyone who does not have that version of the faith should either be forced to attain it, or die.
Luckily, the law of attraction makes Them die in the end instead. ;)

~I would add, that in a paradigm where the 85 richest people In the world have as much wealth as the 3.5 billion poorest... Humanity has been corralled into a very dark cul-de-sac of the Rabbit Hole. The real Intent behind radical 'wealth redistribution' is something that transcends the fear based mentalities of the old paradigm, & touches on an essential component of our collective Freedom & survival. A crucial part of redistributing the wealth of the Gaian-Matrix, includes sharing the wealth of Knowledge that has kept the masses in mental bondage.
