I really loved this part of the latest Sheldan Nidle channelling: (underlining added)
"It is interesting to note how your global communications can so quickly alter this well-tested time span, making the present different from all previous times in your recent history. Two factors combine to produce an unprecedented potential that was not possible until now: the Internet and the mobile phone. Together, these two forge an immense network that instantly sends ideas and information around the globe. The number of mobiles is at a record high and growing, and what is needed is for you to put simple yet forceful messages together and march electronically upon the old political order. Use these new communication domains to start an electronic stampede to put your demands in the faces of your elected officials. Increase your messages tenfold!"
The technology of today makes it so much easier to make our voices heard. Our parents protested in the streets (some of them), but we don't even have to get out of bed if we don't want to!!!! ; )
Seriously, it only takes a moment to write a simple email to your local elected politician etc, communicating your point of view, and stating what you want to change. No need to get nasty, just be clear and direct and make your point.
You don't have to limit yourself to words either - photos, video clips, music, artwork etc.
Today I downloaded a selection whale photos, and I am going to email them one at a time to our Japanese Embassy representatives, each day. I started today. No message, just the whales, and what is being done to them. The photos speak for themselves, and this simple action is my personal protest.
I would love to hear about YOUR creative protest actions too ; )
We CAN change the world!

I used to be an activist with Greenpeace India, till I got fed up with their aggressive ways and left. I also felt at the time, that I needed to do some real groundwork in my immediate environment. And the UNIVERSE gave me the opportunity... I am a graphic designer by profession, today I work with several NGO's in Mumbai to help save the environment and cultural heritage of the city. Just yesterday, one of the projects I had worked on saw the light of the day. We opened up a 73,15,000 sq km breathing space in the middle of our city for use by the public. This space was earlier a junkyard with everything from animals, human waste and scrap dumped in.
I use my creativity to help all the deserving NGO's fighting to protect the environment in the way they communicate themselves. So yes I can say that I play a small role in changing the world around me. :-)))
Intention, creative visualisation and reiki also help.

I don't seem to be a natural lightworker - not very good at visualising. I am pretty good at using words and getting my point across though, so my change-making is more along those lines - emails to politicians etc. I also have the highest of intentions, as the belief that we CAN make a difference.
If you haven't, then you should. It may help you transform yourself into a natural lightworker. :-) We all are, its just a matter of remembering and reconfiguring ourselves to the frequency of mother earth.

I just go with the theory that by focusing on love, and being love, our vibrations affect everyone and everything for miles around.... : )
