In Rastafari culture, King Haile I Selassie I the First is one of the re-incarnations of the Most High.

Everyday for a short time look up to the heavens, give thanks, give praises and blessings, acknowledgement of all the blessings sent to you from Him. I choose Haile I Selassie I as he is the most recent re-incarnation and is a good, decent, kind man. He is a model for all men to follow. Men may have forgotten they are not only guardians of this planet, but also guardians of the indigenous animals, humans and even our beautiful women. Men, never forget this or you have truly lost your way!

In most European culture (yes lets face it that includes American as it is a mostly European-run culture, i would say most are European descendants but now im not so sure if there are more immigrants lol) we mostly like to call the planet Gaia. 

Everyday for a short time, look down to the soil/Earth, or hold a tree, whilst you give thanks to your Mother Earth for the planet, all the food she provides, and the life she has given you. My belief is women should mirror Gaia, warm, kind, loving and providing, someone to make you happy no matter what and someone you cherish, care for and would protect with your life. Most have lost touch with reality and are off working in some business estate, forgetting about their loved ones, or off to get so wasted they make themselves ill and are ruining the temple that is your body. Give these thanks and praises to the Most High and your caring mother. This is what Honouring your Mother (Earth)  and your Father (the Most High)... He gave you the breath of life, She brought you up and provided, loved and cared for for you. Honour/thank them everyday and you will find yourself swimming in blessings! It worked for me :)
