question about marjuana

I am 21 now. I smoked marijuana twice when i was 15. Both times it was the worst experience of my life.  It made me feel like my mind kept resetting every second. It scared the sh** out of me!!! Horrible paranoid and anxiety. So I want to know, from a spiritual perspective, why is it that my mother, father, and my brother have all smoked marijuana several times in the past and enjoyed it, yet I just can't? Perhaps it is because my consciousness is different than theirs? (I am the only spiritually interested person in our family). But I know that many spiritual people are able to enjoy marijuana. Even to this day if I recall the experience of the mind resetting it comes back and starts again and I get panic attacks. So I was wondering, perhaps this has something to do with ascension coming? Or my naturally altered consciousness?  I ask here because any friends who I have explained it to before just tell me I'm crazy and I just need to smoke more and get used to it then I can enjoy it (but I will never smoke it again).

Blessings---

  • Just smoke it and be very very quiet about it.

  • Well, it's not good to smoke anything anyways, so be glad for these bad experiences, they'll deter you from doing it. And I can't believe there's even a debate about it...no, you shouldn't smoke weed, or smoke cigarettes, or take pills, or drink, or do drugs...period lol People like to make all the excuses in the world for it, but everyone knows deep down, it's better to not do it than to do it. It's better to be clean, clear, here, and in the now....than to not be. So why even do it for then.

  • yes i do know, and like in many places on earth the people live in fear of death and starvation from govt and citizen alike.  people in desperate places do desperate things.

you are biased in this for whatever personal reason you have but look at the "drug trade" another way.  ou can buy GMO processed milk, or you can buy milk from a farmer,  just because some people mess with the milk doesnt mean there is something wrong with milk.  and to treat people who sell milk with the bias that they are all GMO'ers isnt fair to milk or the farmers who are not doing nasty things to their product.  same with the "drug war" the drugs arent the problem, the people who are doing the bad things are the problem, you dont cut off your leg because there is a leech attached to it.

  • Buy BC Budd!!! he he

  • Everyone is different :)

  • I am so glad you wrote "I will never smoke again." Great choice. Your body (mind and spirit too) sent you a pretty strong message that this drug is not a good fit for you. Why override the obvious by smoking more to get your body used to it? When I first tried cigarettes I got very sick. Friends said - it will get easier - just keep smoking and you will get used to it. Sure enough - they were right. It led to addiction and took me over 15 years to stop. Re - read your words - "the worst experience of your life"! That is a pretty powerful reason to just say no. I keep coming across messages that indicate drugs (recreational and prescription) have no place in the higher realms. Since you are on a spiritual path - perhaps your soul is guiding your mind and body with the wisdom you need to stay on the path.

    • Thank you tleespirit. I am glad you were able to overcome your addiction! And I really appreciate and agree with your logic :)

    • Cannibis has medicinal uses--
Its used to treat Glaucoma and appetite stimulation for people who have cancer and take chemo therapy.
Its also used as a pain reliever. There are some side affects but if you control the dose this can be minimized.
let everyone decide for themselves if its useful for them. Its not mandnatory for anyone to smoke--- but there can be uses that are more beneficial than the negative aspects. Yes there is some side affects- but this can be controlled
by getting medicinal quality and useing care with ingestion.Carl Sagan and many others have usefully ingested cannabis. Its not for everyone, but it can be useful.

      • Always a choice heh, pills or pot!
