The town of Supa Village in India has turned into something that looks like the movie Planet of the Apes.

A movie that saw apes taking over the planet. This is due to a spate of recent monkey attacks that have had residents afraid to leave their homes and being attacked if they are brave enough to do so. It seems Supa Village is not a super place to live after all.

Monkeys Are Not Cute; They Are Thugs

Monkeys are not the cute, lovable animals that many people believe them to be. Many in fact make big cats look like cuddly kittens. There have been some horror stories in the news about the damage that monkeys can do to human beings, and Supa Village is one region where residents are in fear of this happening to them on a daily basis.

In one photograph and a compilation video that was put together, a man is riding his motorbike through the village, and he seems to be nervously looking around him. The next minute a monkey appeared in the street behind him and was seen charging towards him angrily screeching.

Thankfully, the man was able to rev up his motorbike to evade the monkey, but for some strange reason he did not and the monkey races across the road and launches itself onto the back of the man knocking him and the bike to the ground. The man picks himself up, and the monkey runs away, perhaps laughing having scored another point against humankind.

In the compilation video, a man is seen casually walking up the street as though he owns the place, but in fact, the monkey proves that he does not, and this is its territory. The monkey runs up the street behind the man and jumps into his back kicking him hard sending him sprawling into the dirt.

In another instance, a man thought he would be tough, and he gives a monkey the finger along with daring to put his face close to the monkey. Not a good idea and of course the monkey came out on top. The monkey jumps from the top of the fence it was perched on and dropkicks the man right in the face.

Even the elderly are not safe walking down the streets it seems. An elderly woman is seen ambling along the street, shuffling along when a monkey runs up from behind her and again jumps up onto her back and sends the poor woman reeling into the road face down.

Monkey India
At the end of the video people with sticks and blankets stand around as a large monkey comes into their town and sits on top of a fence calmly looking around. You can see that it is thinking this is my town and the locals are all standing back in caution not daring to tackle it, even with huge sticks. One man is seen getting ready to run as he thinks the monkey is about to come and attack them.

Supa Village really is a real-life town straight out of Planet of the Apes, a few more years and the monkeys will have overrun the town completely.
