RELATIONSHIPS

Relationships are a reflection of you.....realize that the source of the Love y ou may feel from another will always originate within you. No one will ever bring Love to you; they will only serve to become the focal point upon which the Love you have within you may be expressed outwardly. As the relationship between you and your Soul becomes more complete then your relationships with others also becomes more while.

Use relationships as a gage to measure your own progress. If they are not fulfilling, then you have not fully recognized your own Love, Self-Love. If you are looking for Love, you must become more Loving. What we want in our Lives, we must become.

Fill your own cup so that it runs over to spill out on others. By filling your cup first, wherever you go, others will be the beneficiary of your Love.

I'd like to add here that I so appreciate what Gibran said: "Say not God is in my Heart, but, rather say, I am in the Heart of God."

Is there anyone here besides me that objects to the use of the word "within" which is used so much. To me, when someone uses that term, they are referring to "within the body", which we ARE NOT. We are so much more than a body. I feel that in this third dimension there has been far too much attention given to the "needs" of the body, and making that our primary focus, rather than realizing that it is Spirit/Soul which is in charge of the body. For instance, I will go out on a limb and say that I feel that ALL illnesses are of our creation as a result of stress, anger, hatred and any other negative/dark thoughts and emotions.

I feel that my greatest challenge right now is watching my thoughts and emotions and keeping them Light.....not allowing the "demons" of the past to influence this eternal Now.

Just been thinking some more about the whole falling in love thing, and I reckon that a lot of unnecessary heartache is caused by our conditioning. Practically from birth we are programmed to believe that once we find 'the one', we will live happily ever after. Fairy tales, novels, movies, the lot. And so we are all hanging out to find 'the one', and when we think we finally have, BAM, all those brain chemicals and hormones kick in, and we are on a natural high, thinking that now all our dreams will come true and we too will live happily ever after. And when things don't live up to our programmed high expectations, we come crashing down. Ouch.

And for those of us who are slow learners, we do it all over again when we meet the next one we think might be 'the one'.....

Like I said, I'm not planning on falling in love again, and I think it does actually come down to making a decision about it. You can go along with the illusion to spice up life a little, but the key is to know that it's an illusion - no-one else can meet our needs for us or make us happy.

This really beautiful, my friend. I had always thought that what one perceives as their reality should be a gauge, but the truth is that our relationships are our spiritual path. I find everyday, in every way, everything I see both within and without is becoming more one.

  Well, Justin, I would say from my own experience that one of 2 things will happen. When one Loves oneself, they either attract Loving people, or "repel" those who are not Loving. Since like attracts like, the more you Love yourself the more Loving people you will attract. However, the one exception to this is also that the more you Love yourself, the more you will be able to make choices of companions, and this may include separating from ones who have been in your space for awhile.
  
  What I have discovered about Loving myself is that I am a sovereign citizen of the Omniverse.....which is totally freeing and enables me to make choices in all areas of this Life experience.
  
  I hope this helps. It's very difficult to intellectualize Spiritual matters, but, the Heart knows.

My pleasure to share with you, sister/friend. I've learned throughout this incarnation that one can be very firm in setting boundaries without being nasty about it......firm resolve.....firm voice.....with back up when necessary.

Yes, it is an amazing marriage we have. I practiced until I got it right. LOL

It never ceases to amaze me the diversity of viewpoints available on various subjects, which to me is very thought-provoking and expansive to growth. I Love the Spirit of Unity which prevails here and the respect shown to others whether there is agreement or not. As I will continue to say, we can disagree without being disagreeable.
