Hi folks, I have to share this observation, though I'm sure it comes as no surprise to many here.
It is a simple observation, yet within it holds a key to uplifting all we see around us.
I recently modified a santa hat I had laying around for ages, I put bright white led lights all around the white brim so it creates a glowing, pleasing, festive look.
What I am noticing as I take my long walks around my town and by stores and such, it seems about 80% or so of the people that take notice of my glowing santa hat, start to smile with joy, then some if I give them a big smile, as if to say, it's ok to be who you really are and smile and say a few words to me if you wish.
Usually that works like a charm and they start communicating with me as if we are the family that we truly are.
Then there is this 20%, that just refuses to smile and in some cases will look at me as if I'd lost my mind.
It seems like people are so caught up in their daily grind stone of hypnosis, they need something somewhat out of the ordinary to bring out that light inside.
As for the other 20% or so, all we can do is offer our light and love it seems, to help them remember who and what they really are, pure love.
Maybe other folks can think up ways to bring out the light in others, to help snap them out of the hypnosis they seem to be under.
peace love light

I agree with the 20%...It's like when I take my daughter out to the store or something, and she says "hi" and waves to other adults and children. You'd be surprised how many adults try hard to ignore her. I mean, saying "hi" to a 2 year old isn't gonna kill you. :/ But most of the time, people wave back, which is great. She just loves to love
I think that's great, VioletRay! There's nothing wrong with being lighthearted and being like a child. Not childish, but child like. I am finding myself reconnecting, again, with my innocence and purity, and the lightness of childhood. Sometimes when I walk in the street, I am singing and dancing and people look at me like, what is this guy doing lol But again, like you with your Santa hat, it's giving them a subconscious message that, you can be who you are and express your lightness.
I mean, children don't care lol You'll notice that with them, they will do anything, say anything, no matter who is around. They just are who they are, so innocently. We need to be like that again. I see so many people, who are very serious and sober, and they have this idea that being free spirited and light hearted and emotive is immature and childish. These guys are too caught in mind, that's what it is. They need to connect more with their heart.
Your Santa hat sounds awesome Violet Ray :)
I've always had a strange connection with Christmas, perhaps not the religious aspect of it as much as the "festive" vibe of it. I found this picture of myself when I was about 3 standing by a christmas tree, trying to decorate it, so I think there is some strange "connection" there, that was with me from the beginning of my human life. :-)
I have a christmas tree up at my house all year round most generally, it brings a good energy into the atmosphere ~ the lights give me a warm feeling... :)
