Reminder of Marianne Williamson Quote

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure
.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be?

You are a child of God.

Your playing small doesn't serve the world.

There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.

It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.

And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."

I feel these are some of the wisest words spoken and I felt we could do with the reminder in Light of the present circumstances.

I feel we ALL need to be reminded that there is no-thing to fear from the darkness for the Light is far more powerful......actually, it's True power.  Darkness has no power in and of itself.....it's all show and head games.  So more and more we need to BE in and STAY in our Hearts, for that's where the Love is and that's Who We Truly are.

Most of my days, I am feeling free and I would certainly Love to "liberate others".  I used to think that hatred was the opposite of Love, but, I now know that it's fear that is Love's opposite......as fear contains hatred, anger, etc., etc.  You know what I mean.

    • Everything you can do with or to yourself you can do with or to others. So be aware of yourself so you can be aware of others.
      • You got it, brother!!!
  • I've stumbled upon this quote somewhere before and I really love it. Thanks for sharing!
    • Well, that makes my day, EagleVision. "Never is a man so tall than when he stoops to help a brother." Although I'm not a man ;o), you ARE my brother, and I Love you, too, and have the greatest respect for you.
    • Thank you all for your responses. I Love this message so much, we have it framed and hanging over our fireplace. BTW, I'll really be glad when we can use that fireplace!!! LOL I have to say the one thing positive I can say about "sin city" is that the winters are wonderful. Can't wait.
