~The notion that 'if you refuse to vote, you have no voice' or a 'right to criticize the Government' is a remaining shadow of 'Divide & Rule', Barry . Nothing more, nothing less. Suggesting that 'you just need to make sure that you choose a party you believe in and keep supporting it' is laughable... a dated model that no longer serves the massed, or the planet. Look around, brother... how's it working? I'm not saying don't get 'involved' in arenas or causes where 'one's' intuition guides.. far from it. But committing to a 'party' in the current timeline is a byproduct of dualistic thinking that, from my perspective, borders on meaningless. But hey... if standing behind a curtain in front of a computer & checking boxes still makes you feel empowered?... enjoy! It's a practice that will be inevitably rightsized by the emerging paradigm. & for the record... I would never pretend to be 'the arbiter of what people think'??? That's absurd, Barry. But I do have perspective that I'm happy to share, just as you do. If my words offend your delicate sensibilities?... Sorry. From where I stand, this thread isn't about 'idolizing' Russell Brand... it's about honoring those voices that are willing to raise the conversation beyond antiquated ideas & beliefs that ignore the Spiritual crises that Humanity & the Gaian Matrix are facing. & guess what, Barry? It's not always about having definitive answers... this is a malleable, Multidimensional process... & engaging peoples Consciousness to see beyond the fading veils of duality is half the battle. I too agree with you and Peekay, Luke. I highly respect Russell Brand and the message he promotes and cannot see anything he says that would offend a true lightworker. I hope he keeps spreading his message.
When I first became aware of Russell Brand I did not think he was funny at all but that just may be the English humor I do not get but lately after listening to him...I just love him and his message. It's clear to see he is the future of this planet and he's using his notoriety to get the new age message out.
What a shame that several of our supposedly enlightened brothers are so small minded and judgmental. Some of us learn from our mistakes and move on to better things.
The only reason to vote would be if there is someone who represented my beliefs and new age thinking...why should we keep voting for the status quo? I refuse to support the 3D thinking of our national and world leaders...more hate...more war...more violence...more intrusion into our lives...more of the same BS. I do still have the right to support or not support whomever I want and so does RB.
LUKE: George Carlin makes a joke about masturbation showing results and the government not showing results. He is correct, but he actually highlights the public and their ridiculous trust with government as being the problem with why he won't vote. It's a shame he won't discuss other options offered outside the voting process besides laziness, which is what multi-millionaire Russell Brand suggests on how we deal with corruption in our government and financial sectors.
PEEKAY: so it's okay to talk about Russell Brand's philosophy as long as it doesn't include his philosophy regarding politics (of which he talks of voter apathy which proves he's anything but an "awakener")??? YOU ARE BEING HYPOCRITICAL ABOUT YOUR SUBJECT MATTER.

It's funny, I watched him in the movies before I 'awakened', and now, I can watch him talk about the spiritual concepts that interest me. What a perfect world!
