    Ban smoking to save lives, and then put people in jail just because they don't agree with the president.. .. How many people die every year from police and military violence in russia and the countries they're operating in? More or less than what dies from smoking?

    It is common sense smoking kills and those smoking are guilty of puffing second hand smoke on non smokers.
    So President Putin is doing the right thing...other countries should follow.
