So, who's John Carlo then, and where did he get all this information?
I hadn't heard much about him before but a quick search brought up a few things.

Interesting information. Some resonates with me. It wasn't so much that the star wars story happened here with the Fall as I feel that relates more to the Orion conflicts. Atlantis did involve off planet beings of a wide variety and their knowledge was abused.
