More than 100 whales were found trapped in a series of tiny enclosures off the Russian Pacific coast near the southeastern city of Nakhodka.
A total of 11 orcas and 90 Beluga whales are being held in what activists now call a "whale prison," possibly illegal. This is the largest number of marine animals kept in this way, reports Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC), a UK-based wildlife organisation.
Remember how you would feel if you were taken from your family and held against your will? Forced into a life that in no way reflects anything natural. Would you be extremely scared, depressed and suicidal?
