I been curious about what happens when we begin having spiritual growth and enlightenment. I read somewhere that getting sick is one of them.... :P

yes our body's can go through high emotions when dealing with big changes such as spiritual development
as long as u take adequate rest, and stay in a relaxed and natural mode;
all things will work out wonderfully ;) ;)
when you have to work all the time for a home that is very difficult. that's why I'm thinking about just surviving without money and technology, but sometimes I wonder if I'm ready. I guess when society collapses I won't have a choice

Not everyone who becomes enlightened, does so from being sick. There are many who have awakened and are totally healthy.
Yet some people who develop chronic fatigue, have to quit their mainstream kind of job, lose their home, marriage, friends etc may become enlightened over the years once they sit down and question their whole life and the meaning of it. This is because everything they felt was 'secure' - is now gone, so their journey begins.
Everyone's journey is different.
