1)  Don't miss the boat;

2)  Remember we are all in the same boat;

3)  Plan ahead.  It wasn't raining when Noah built the ark;

4)  Stay fit.  When you're 600 years old, someone may ask you to do something really big;

5)  Don't listen to critics;

6)  Build your future on high ground;

7)  For safety's sake, travel in pairs;

8)  Speed isn't always an advantage; the snails were on board with the cheetahs;

9)  When you're stressed, float awhile;

10)  Remember the ark was built by amateurs, the Titanic by professionals;

11)  No matter the storm, when you are connected to Spirit, there's always a rainbow awaiting.

  • Thanks LF for this uplifting post, and thanks Katt, for the happy illustrations...I am loving it. It takes a lot less effort to laugh and be happy than to feel down and blue. I really need humor these days. Love you all.
  • Oh, now, Katt, I'm quite sure you are NOT more work than you're worth. How can you say that? Someone besides me obviously thinks you're worth it. Hmmmm?

    Oh, you mentioned the magic word when you said "hummingbirds". We have them here, but they don't have the glorious colors that they have in the more verdant territories.

    Well, maybe we should exchange places for awhile? I Love cool, rather humid climates. Actually, Vegas is not nearly as dry as it once was, because, people have swimming pools, planting things that require watering.....grass, flowers, etc. Not a wise idea for the desert.
  • Well, Love, if you have too much time on your hands, I'd be very happy for you to come stay with us awhile. LOL Now, why doesn't anyone want to take me up on this? buahahahaha.
    • LOL Good ones, Katt. Thanks so much for illustrating my thread. :)))))) After all, one picture is worth 10,000 words, huh?

      You aren't trying to "one-up" me, now, are ya'? LOL Just teasin' ya'. ;o)
