We all talk about it as though we're going to ascend, and when I post blogs where I'm just trying to vent some frustration or anger, people will claim it's ascension symptoms or something like that.
What I'm struggling with the most, is the part where it's somehow supposed to end all wars/ fighting and then everyone (even mortal enemies) become best friends forever. Uhm.. I think I'm missing something here. People are talking about ascension not only just being for Earth, but it's happening on all dimensional levels.
Well, let's look at something else here. Cycles. Apparently "The Golden Age" is going to be the cycle to end all previous cycles here. Well, what happens afterward? You spend some many thousand years living lives filled with love and light.. then what? What do we do then? Do we still advance technology or do we spend most of our time debating what's 'ethical'?
I just don't get any of it, it doesn't make any sense to me. What about when we learn all we can from our time "in the light"? What if we become a little too soft after all that time there and forget to care about other races who are going through the same crap we did way back when?
Can this discussion please be answered logically, not just info gathered from various channels. I don't use just intuition to discern, I use logic also, to prevent my gut feeling from leading me blindly into traps. It's a little something called balance.

Well, who knows. Maybe it's just personally ascension... I think ascension is just another term for understanding.
Think about dimensions. Let's say you are a 2 dimension being... let's say you are a square. Rae the Square... no insult intended. So, you are a square. The only way you can ascend is to move into the third dimension. As far as you know, right now, the only thing you can experience is the 2nd dimension... left and right, forward and backwards. A third dimensional being could look at much more of the 2nd dimension, as a sort of objective view, and see all of the 2nd dimension people, and that being can put their hand through the plane that all the squares and triangles and pentagons live on. So, maybe one day, one of your brethren squares gets the idea that there is something out there besides just forward, backwards, left, and right. It doesn't know what it is... it can't, in its current body, actually move into the third dimension. But, maybe someday a third dimensional being picked up one of these squares, and then set him back down again... This square would claim to have seen the light. And this square, even though he doesn't know it, can become a cube, just by developing his "spiritual" self, by developing his third dimensional self.
...Now, that doesn't say why we need `to become cubes. Why is a subjective question. No one thinks alike, or else they'd be the one and same thing. In fact, all questions are subjective... in fact, even objectivity is defined by subjectivity, or maybe vice versa. Well, hum. Maybe... you can't know something unless you experience it. And maybe the universe is just a great big learning experience. And maybe some people go about learning in different ways. Which may or may not include "ascension". If we've learned all we want to learn here, why waste any more time here? Let's go to the next dimension!
So, all in all, it seems that "ascension" is just a personal thing.

Dear All - I went through some of the discussions mentioned above.
Ascension is not mere understanding!!
Ascension is Physical, mental and also spiritual.
How does it start? When you really want to seek the truth and change your thought patterns/ behaviours and/or you start meditating excessively.
What happens physically during the Ascension:
1) Your body starts loosing the density and hence becomes lighter and lighter
2) You encounter serious illness for atleat 2-4 months - As your DNA changes, you encounter headaches, blurrness, unexplainable body pains etc
3) You will start seeing auras
4) You aura will get more light as time passes
5) There are many more that happens to the physical body. It will be tough to cope up untill you get used to the new vibratory levels
Mental Changes
1) You will loose passion for everything and you are tuned to have only spiritual passion!!!!
2) Your ego self starts deteriorating slowly
3) Your thought patterns will change
4) Your behaviours will change
5) All anger, fear for survival etc.. surface up
6) You will be empathitic to the population around you and on earth
7) You will become more sensitive
8) Many more on the mental level - You get to know how things happen around you and you also know that nothing is going wrong!!! Your relations with others changes for good!!
Spiritual Changes:
1) You will be spiritually advanced, as your body looses the density, your aura will get more light
2) You will observe your highr self or otherbeings trying to get in touch with you etc...
3) You feel this as a cobweb running across the face etc...
So, my dear friends - Ascension is very real and very realistic. It is physical, mental and spiritual.

My understanding through my own experience is that there is a lot of misunderstanding around the ascension process. Like a lot of spiritual understanding we place it outside ourselves by complicating it too much. It is very simply the momentary stuff of bringing to the surface that which is unconsciousness within us. We live our lives starting out pretty simple then we begin the process of taking on truth from outside ourselves. It is a part of our socialisation or acclimatisation to the family, group, society.
It feels as if we come into experience life in order to learn who we really are as conscious creators. At this time we choose to come in and explore this big time, in order to assist the collective to move forward and shift into a another mode of being. Ascension is the stuff we are living, being, breathing, feeling. It is the stuff of life. Every moment in our relationship with self or others, intimate or otherwise gives us the opportunity to give up release that which is not in alignment with who we really are. When we ascend we bring light into what was unconscious within us. It is both an upward & downward process as we are releasing the extremes. I hope this helps, it is a good question!
Dear Rae - I understand your frustration but there is so much going on and around for sure. If you have a strong will to know the reality, then you will know it one day for sure, with proofs! Keep searching. The best way would be meditation and self evaluation. Believe me, you will know the facts. It can even take you onto the path of ascension.
Ascension is Physical, mental and spiritual. Your physical body will undergo very real changes. Your thought patterns and behavioral patterns would change and you will also advance spiritually, while being ascending. For sure you will know while you are ascending, that you are on the path. It is the most difficult process that a human being will ever go through in the life time. The benefits would be tremendous once your body vibratory levels are increased to certain extent(Ascension increases the physical body vibratory levels).

I believe those of us who are ready and willing will ascend; and it is actually a decision made by our oversoul, not us. I believe there have been a few who have ascended quickly, but I think it is for the most part a gradual process rather than an event. Whether we ascend or not doesn't matter. What is meant to happen will happen.
I believe as ascended beings we will be servants and teachers to others who need our assistance, and we will like what we are doing.
It is possible to be at peace, but still be in this world. I believe Sananda tried to teach us that in his incarnation as Jesus (I forget what his real name was "Joshua ben Joesph or something like that".)
Babaji is an ascended being who remains to help us and show the way to self realization.
I would like to add. I believe if a person is part of this website and interested...... Well, you figure out the rest. Is a person that plays baseball and hangs around baseball fields and players likely to become a baseball player? I would think so.
